unless it states in your lease that you cannot threaten your roomate, the landlord cannot kick you out. If your names are both on the lease, you have to either suck it up or try to get along that is why picking a roomate is not an easy task.

Nobody on the lease has more right to stay in that house regardless of who is right or wrong. The law is clear with that. Your contract is with the landlord - not the roommate. The landlord has no right to interfere with your current relationship with your roommate.

Read state law, it varies from state to state but for most states making a situation intolerable for people living there is grounds for conviction regardless of what the lease says.

    Do you have a lease?
    Did you read the lease?
    What does the lease say?

First off, I actually think that so many people believe I called my mother a skank b**** is pretty funny.

Seriously, the rooms in this condo are leased individually so I didn't have a choice in my roommates. There have been no past instances with said roommate -- she literally doesn't say a word to me other than a few remarks here and there.

Here is the provision in my lease the landlord is arguing -- "The tenants hold harmless and indemnify the landlord from any liability resulting from conflicts, disagreements, harm and the like with any roommates. Any conflict or aforementioned items is to be resolved between the parties and not the landlord. Tenants expected to behave in a professional manner and resolve any conflict in a cordial, peace and non-threatening manner."

P.S. I live and Austin and will probably need a lawyer -- if any clutchfans lawyers want some work!

Yeah, that basically says "The landlord is not a part of your roommate drama. Please resolve that bull**** yourselves. Oh, and be nice to each other."

Get a lawyer, this isn't grounds for eviction.

So there is a permits a nuisance part of eviction.
Again, getting in screaming matches with a roommate and insulting them could be inferred as permitting a nuisance.

This is also an interesting remark in that if disturbing neighbors is an offense that can warrant eviction, it wouldn't be unreasonable to ask the same for a person actually living in said house.

That's two minutes on the google, if I didn't have more work to do I would gladly do a bit more exploration.

In this case there was no screaming. She kept bugging me about something via text so i just politely replied that she is a skank b****.

You sir, are a poet and a scholar.

Plant false evidence against her, take pics, and then get a lawyer.

Not as fun as you think. The kind of girl that lives with dudes generally doesn't know or bring over other girls. Also, if you do anything wrong, expect her to hate you for life --there is no such thing as "bro-ing" it out, only "ho-ing" it out.

Don't worry about it, Jack. Mr. Roper would never really go through with it. And Chrissy will forgive you sooner or later. Get Janet to talk to her.
