That doesn't happen as much as the nba fans think, if someone doubles dwight, in this case rondo (or for example in most cases now parsons) just dives to the bucket and gets a pass from dwight which either makes the defender stop double teaming or he gives a easy layup up. Also giving any nba player a wide open corner 3 even if it's rondo is a terrible outcome
Rockets get: Rondo, J.R. Smith Celtics get: Asik, Montiejunas, Hardaway Jr. Knicks get: Lin, Rockets 1st Rd pick Rockets get a good defensive PG who is pass first plus a scorer to replace Lin in leading second unit. Celtics get a bonafide center, PF with some promise and promising young SG. Knicks get some press and someone who would bring buzz in Lin and get back into the 1st rd in a deep draft (don't own their 1st rd pick).
followed by this... @KBergCBS Dallas, thought, lacks the necessary assets to get Cleveland engaged in any serious talks. haha
NO Just NO Don't want that bonehead JR Smith and his chucking. He will be a bad example to all our young guys and a cancer
Biggest non talking point on clutchfans about this parsons rondo trade is the hole at SF. It's the biggest drop off from our first team to second unit

Rondo is a huge upgrade at the PG position and it's not even close. The passing on this team is not very good. We miss a ton of guys who flash open. Lin has a poor feel for passing in the half court offense. Harden is kind of a one dimensional passer...pick and roll...Really no other ball handler is even worth mentioning much as a passer. Rondo hits guys all over the floor in all kinds of situations. Rondo not only will help this team defensively and against top PG's in the west, but offensively we should get even better. If you're cutting, getting to open spots Rondo can get the ball to you in prime position to score. If we were somehow able to keep TJ or Parsons, I could see them really benefiting from Rondo...Dwight as well...Harden is going to have to adjust some and stop playing lazy. He's going to have to cut more and run off screens...more off the ball movement.

I apologize, flip flop the 2PT and 3PT on that chart...I copy and pasted it from word and made a few edits.
