I'm a little surprised that so many people think Houston will stand pat. Has Daryl Morey ever just done nothing at the trade deadline?

I want to see us land Rondo. But also ok if nothing happens. If Asik is motivated and happy if he's still on the team after the deadline, I'm eager to find out how this current team will perform.

I think it was Worell the other night that said the Rockets needed Trevor Ariza back.... and then he went off on us. Wing defender, 3 point shooter.

I like Afflalo, think he would be great for our team. I don't like his contract, but I think he would be worth it.

Not really sure what Orlando would want? Young assets and picks. While we have a lot of picks, I don't think they are going to be that high. And I can't think of which of our younger players that would want?

He's been having a career season.. Granted it is his contract season, I just thought I'd put that out there.

Plus, he wouldn't be asked to be the #1 option as he was when he was here before.

I'm expecting Jones, DMo, a draft pick, and a million dollars for Anthony Bennett. Hope Smith gets healthy soon.

Anthony Morrow for Brewer wouldn't be so bad if you ask me, but we might need Brewers defense in a deep playoff run. I don't think Anthony Morrow is considered a defensive specialist in any way, so Brewer has that going for him.

I wouldn't be upset if the team stayed exactly the same after Thursday though.

I wouldn't be upset either, but it would mean that we are keeping DMo and Jones, which means the 4-spot is locked up, and it would mean keeping Asik, which means backup minutes at the 5 are accounted for. Hence, no place for Greg Smith, which means he'd rot on our bench and we'd lose him for nothing when he walks in free agency this offseason. Would at least like to move him for a 2nd round pick.

Exactly. Plus keeping Lin gives the team at least one person who can score off the bench

Really want Steve Novak back... don't ask me why, but I feel like getting him back would be nice.

Getting Rondo decreases our 3 point stretching abilities... but extremely increases ball handling and controlling our game tempo at a ceiling rate. If we get Rondo, I am praying Parsons/D-Mo/Jones are untouched.

But I don't think Morey is trading anyone by tomorrow, we're going to have our same team for the year.

Rockets should go after Shumpert. I can't believe the Knicks are even considering this trade. Surely Rockets could put up an offer better than this to get the defensive stopper they've been wanting for a while now?
