    Keep in mind: Deng has to be traded by himself.

    Cleveland has next to no leverage in this situation.

    If the Rondo thing doesn't come to fruition I would definitely hop all over Deng for scraps.

    Yea I don't see this being a good fit. He will want more money than the Rockets believe he is worth. So we can get him as a rental? I guess if the prize is our second but still seems like a myopic move.

    He was pretty much the only source of offense on a Rose-less Bulls team, so teams hone in on him pretty hard, I'm sure.

    I doubt that DM will want to move Lin in a package for him, unless he can get Rondo.
    I don't expect him to be a Rocket.

    Interesting move with if traded Asik for him straight up. He'd probably be our best shot at defending Durant and since he's our biggest threat to the finals, this could be a good move.

    I'm not high on him but to replace him for parsons it sounds good. If we have him and parsons then no.

    Why not? Deng would be our best shot at defending Durant if we trade Asik and fillers (Brewer, Greg Smith). Imagine how great our bench would be with this guy. He could play stretch 4 if Jones isn't playing well. He's then off of the books and we have cap space to upgrade the team/ re-sign Parsons.

    He wants money as well and for him to come off the bench too. Asik, Lin and Deng getting paid starter salary.
