Very well composed and respectful to jtr unlike his earlier snide and to an extent downright insulting remarks. Great work!

Is anyone else turned off from trading Chandler Parsons after being the main reason Dwight Howard signed here?

It'd be the ultimate slap in the face.

How so? NBA is a business. This is the bed they chose to make and now everyone gets to sleep in it. Loyalty is determined by a player's worth, and Parsons is just another role player, albeit great one. If you are not a star, you are expendable.

Morey would trade his daughter for Lebron James, so not really.

Getting paid close to the least on the team.

Still the biggest campaigner on making the team better to bring Dwight here.

Not many guys have that attitude.

Parsons probably wasnt the main reason Dwight signed here - I think James Harden had something to do with that.

Parsons though clearly went above and beyond in the recruitment efforts in trying to get Dwight here (then again - who is to say it wasnt to Parsons benefit to do this? he has gotten a lot of additional exposure for his efforts)

I dont know if you can say its a slap to his face - I really really want Parsons to stay on the team but if it makes the team better than ultimately I want more memories of championships - its been 20 years man -- way too long.

One thing though that has me curious with all the Parsons love around here -- if he wasnt on his crazy small contract and paid his fair market amount would people love him as much? To me how much a player gets paid and his output adds to fan love. Lets say if he gets 7-8mill on the open market and signs a 4 year 30 million dollar deal with a team. Would people still love him as much or complain that he has his off game or screws up a big play?

I just want to see us make a move, even if it's minor. The roster as constructed isn't going to win a title, in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure Harden and Howard will both be consulted. Although if Parsons is traded, then that'll be funny.

What are we going to do when Parsons signs an offer sheet from a desperate team in the off season for 4 years 40 mil and we can't match....Then what. Morey is smart he knows what lies ahead with Parsons and what he will demand on the open market.

Besides Harden I think Hakeem and McHale made Dwight come here IMO.

Here's the deal, my girl doesn't like sports so she doesn't understand my obsession with the Rockets and other Houston teams. But what she DOES like is Parsons (can't blame her for that)...(wait what)...so how do I explain to my girl that she can't look at Parsons anymore but instead she can look at....Deng?! Tongue-in-cheek obviously
