I got an idea... since jtr said he knows that Morey posts on here and he knows who he is, why don't you just ask him, jtr? :)

    1. That's not all you were advocating. You and Zoplicone have been denying that cyberx has any legit information (and actually going well overboard with it with snide comments), when he has been vouched for by Clutch no less as someone who has access to behind the scenes info. That doesn't mean his information hasn't been intentionally leaked by a GM or may be clouded by the source of information, or that it will come to pass (particularly bc cyberx has simply said that Morey is TRYING to get Rondo).

    2. Rondo is a superstar, or at least a star. The man (when healthy) is almost a walking triple double and practically the best defensive point guard out there. He's also a better shooter than people give him credit for. It would be fair to say that he is an injury risk, and that if the injuries continue he will be well short of his past level of play, but that's not what you've been advocating.

    3. I don't disagree that the cost for Rondo should be on par with the benefit. I'll leave it up to Morey to decide how much he wants to pay; I have a fair amount of faith that he will pay no more than what's appropriate. Keep in mind that when you are NEAR a championship, Morey himself has said that it is ok to overplay players (or for them) to get you to the championship window, as opposed to when you are farther away.

Yes, an alternative opinion CAN be expressed, but why express over and over again when NO ONE is asking your opinion. Why work so hard to discredit cyberx unless your real motive is to be an instigator? I mean, if you think that the thread is full of dreamers and wishers....and cyberx isn't an insider, then why be INSIDE the thread? You think it's your job to talk common sense into people?

I have gone out of my way to express why it is not possible for cyberx to have legit insider information into the Rockets front office trade talks. It all boils down to this: no one had even a breath of a clue before the Rockets Harden, MM and PP trades. You can look back at my posts for an explanation of that position.

There actually is no statistical evidence that Rondo has ever done anything but ride the coat tails of Garnett, Pierce and Allen. Sorry there is none. To pretend otherwise is to fly in the face of the facts.

Morey's philosophy is to depend on statistical analysis. To suggest anything otherwise is ludicrous. See the above paragraph for more information.

Basically Rondo is worth Lin and a first round 2014 pick. If Ainge wants more do not expect to see Rondo on the Rocket's roster this season.

Dude we get it. You have made your point over and over. It is a broken record that no one wants to hear at this point. If you don't like what is in the thread go away.

And why would Clutch do anything otherwise? I would do the same in his position. I could go into the economics of this situation but I chose not to.

The real question is why some people are so bothered by others believing CyberX.

I fully believe that CyberX is passing on legit information, and I fully believe that it won't happen. Most talks end in nothing.

That's the easy opinion. Only one team is going to win the Championship so why keep crapping on optimism, even if it is far fetched? Nobody knows what's gonna happen but your haughtiness makes the wait a lot more painful.

nah man go into the economics of the situation...tell me what motivates clutch! I'm so interested to hear your take on how he values site traffic over having quality information on the forum and misleading people! No really!

    Who cares! They're fans.

Of course the trade proposals coming from the team acquiring a superstar are going to be abhorrent. That's what make them fan random trade idea.

Those fans have no say so in what the GMs will and won't do, so there's no reason to inject something that will quickly be denounced in the first place.

LOL. I can post whatever I want. Where ever I want. And a question. Do I win when Houston's roster is basically unchanged on Thursday afternoon (as I have been predicting for a while now)? Probably not. But I lose much less than 90% of the posters on this thread. But then I have a much higher profile than most proponents for this trade. So I probably come out on the short side.

Then leave it at that. Why repeat your same stance ad nauseum on every other post? We get it! You do not believe cyberx is legit and you think these are baseless rumors. Ok, move on...

Let the rest of us debate on this possibility for what it's worth.
