The problem is guys like you go by reputation instead of checking numbers often. Dumars averaged 40 3pt% for the 2nd half of his career while attempting well above 300 for many seasons, which is a significant amound and elite percentage therefore. Yet you dismiss him and say he's only “above average“, while I'm sure you'd call other guys GREAT shooters because of their reputation and bigger spotlight. But facts are more important than reputation, and 40% from 3 for 7 seasons while attempting above 300 each season is elite.
Mitch Richmond Well that was tough. I had 5 targets for SG in the previous round, Richmond is the only one left. But I was tempted to select a 6th man now and hope he drops. Oh well, we'll see what happens next.

Sure, ignore the fact that the 3 point line was moved up for those seasons. That probably didn't make a difference at all. OH WAIT. Above 40% from 3 for 7 seasons? First season he made 0.1 3s a game. Second season he made 0.2 3s a game. Third season he made 0.3 3s game. Fourth season he made 0.6 3s a game. Fifth and sixth seasons, he made more 3s, but that was when the 3 point line was moved up. Seventh season (his last in the NBA) he shot at the regular line and hit a lotta 3s. Props to him. So, I actually look at context around stats instead of blindly looking at the percentage. Better luck next time.
