Uh boston is in no place to demand bad salary dumps... Rondo is 28 y/o fresh off a torn acl.. Not only that, he isn't 100%..Additionally he's only under contract for 1 more year.

If either boston or houston can turn asik into a 1st.. I do not see why two 1sts and lin is not a very appealing package.

Ohhhh, i get where the delusion is coming from. You do not think Rando is that dude that people make him out to be. You do not think that Rando is a Superstar PG that is easily the best player in this senerio?! In all actuality Celts hold all the leverage here. There do not have to move anyone, and they could just carry on tanking just like they have been doing. But if a team comes knocking for their Star, yes he is still a star, and will continue to be a star regardless of his injury or his tender age of just 28, then they will have to take on salary that the celts want off their book. And like i said before, depending on the trade package they are getting, Green or Wallace will 100% be attached to any deal that involves Rando leaving Boston. Thats how this NBA TRADING thing works my man. Especially for someone that the whole NBA regards as one of the best PG in basketball. Sorry to break it to you.

It isn't a matter of getting emotionally attached. Trading Parsons opens an enormous hole at SF and leaves the Rockets offense a wreck. The Rockets system relies on ball handlers and three point shooters to open the lane to the basket. Without Parsons there isn't a single above average three point threat in the starting line up. Teams will pack the paint and stop the Rockets. Further Parsons option only makes him more attractive from a flexibility stand point.

Losing Parsons, Lin and Asik for Rondo is at best a lateral move. Morey will not over pay. He didn't when Bynum and Howard were available two years ago and won't now either.

If Rondo comes to Houston it will be to play with Parsons.

honestly, we're not in win now mode. Harden has yet to mature into playing within a system like all the greats do. So I'd rather just let this team grow, if durant and lebron along with love want to join us in 2015, they can easily be accommodated when the time comes.

Parsons is improving every year and he is now possesses the skills of a very good SF. Losing him would hurt the rockets. He is still young.
