No LA tomorrow for Portland. I think Spurs have a better chance to be the first seed than catching the Rockets catching the 2nd seed. After the road trip-March schedule besides the last game of the month against the Pacers looks pretty nice for the Spurs with alot of home games.
Wonder how they would stop this: jadande J.A. Adande Spurs start fouling DeAndre Jordan. An NBA official over the weekend said there's support to put a stop to that gimmick. Not soon enough.
I think you are wrong the spurs will falter. With all the injuries they have it causes Duncan and everyone else to pick up the slack. I have been saying since the beginning of the season, this is when it all falls apart for the spurs.
I wouldn't read too much in this loss for the Clippers. Hopefully CP3 will struggle again next week when the Rockets face them. Spurs are amazing.
Some teams just have the other team's number. Houston owns the Spurs. The Spurs own the Clippers. And the Clippers own Houston. Lube up!
Clipps only have a losing record to Suns, GSW, and the Spurs and GSW is going to het their ass beatdown at th end of the month. Math is obv not your strong suit but it's not for everyone!
We are a completely different team now compared to November I wouldn't be so confident if I were you.
Well usually in past years this is when they turn it up a notch. They have been without a full roster majority of the season, and Parker,Green and Leonard haven't looked good all year this season and are still the second seed in the conference. Green looks like he is getting back in form and hopefully with this rest Parker is getting will help him once the post season comes. Leonard's defense will make a huge difference at the very least when he comes back also. If Spurs pull a trade to get a solid rotation player with giving up anyone then I hope the Spurs would keep the second seed as I would like to avoid the Rockets or Thunder to the WCF where they would have to play teams that give them problem themselves before meeting the Spurs if they make it that far again.
Thiers being Confodent, then theirs being a idiot, you sir are talking like an idiot, you can't not say this team has greatly improved since november
The irony is too good to pass up here. Thier? Confodent? Their? Can't not? Really??? Improvement or no improvement, you guys are dead meat. Dead meat.
I don't give a daaaaaaaaamn whether we beat LAC. It's all about matchups in the playoffs. Only team that seems matchup proof right now is OKC. Everybody else is gonna need the seedlings to go in their favor to really have an inside track to the WCF.
You know you have a strong argument, when your last tactic is to attack Grammer on a forum, clippy give it a rest
This is true. I hope the Clippers can avoid the Grizzlies (though beatable, just too punishing) and the Spurs (unbeatable) at least until the 2nd round. GSW doesn't scare me a bit despite their regular season success against the Clippers. Their coach is a fool and they will be a quick out in the first round.
Normally I don't care but when people say things like "your an idiot" or have six mistakes in a ten word sentence, I feel it is my duty to point it out. Also, Grammer isn't capitalized. And it's spelled "grammar".
Yup. I'm hoping for the Rockets to get any of Warriors/Mavs/Blazers/Suns in the first round, with San Antonio in the second. If it were to go that way, I would expect WCF for the Rockets. If we meet up with LAC or OKC? That'll be tough. Those are the 2 teams that would give the Rockets trouble.
When another team's fan is posting on an opposing message board, it can to make legit points or to troll. When it's constant posting full of false bravado after a loss, I'd lean towards trolling. Being this way next week when the Clips and Rockets meet makes all the sense in the world, but being this way now is just annoying.
Lighten up; it's just a message board. I post a bunch of stuff here. Also, it's not false bravado: the Clippers matchup with the Rockets well, it's a home game, and it's like a 4 in 5 for the Rockets. The Clippers will be favored probably by 8 or 9 points, which is an expected blowout. If it doesn't happen, then you guys can rub it in my face for all I care.
Chris Paul can't really shoot atm, the shoulder is cleared for contact, but there's no strength there. He can only get any sort of strength in his shot by using all legs. I'm not sure if you qatched it, but the Spurs were guarding him like 2010 Rondo, the I'll give you 6 feet of room, because you can't do anything with it.
