Keep Parsons. I am never excited about Rondo who I believe is way overrated.

You guys are over rating Parsons big time. Especially you DD, under rated?? Please, Parsons D has become weaker and weaker and it is ridiculous fans still glorify his PO performance D when that is gone.

Yes he is a charmer. But what happens when he isn't on that rookie scale contract?

If Rondo is healthy, easily Rondo. He's a proven crunch time player.

Parsons is a replaceable system player imo. However, I don't know how much losing Parsons would affect team chemistry.

Parsons. That's a serious trade down in the looks department. How many jeans sponsorships does Rondo bring to the table?

He has shown no signs of being capable of doing that this season. He will be a has-been. Just look at Deron.

I voted Parsons, but I wish I could have voted, Rondo comes, Parsons stays. If Lin and Asik go, so be it, but Parsons must stay.

If looking like an alien is the measure, then we better go full bore and land that alien point guard NOW!

The last time the Rox had an alien point guard, we won 2 championships!!!!!

For the record, i want to keep Parsons.

Rando is a superstar. He has John Stockton's blood inside his veins. He comes here, Rockets win a Championship. Its that simple.

We are all homers tho, we overvalue our guys, and always under value others. But that fact of the matter is, we would be better than we are now, if the Trade brings back Green and Rando.

I like Parsons but he is a 15/5 per 36 guy whose defense is probably average at best these days. Replacing him won't be easy but getting 80% of his production on offense for half of what he is going to get paid for the next 4-5 years should not be an issue at all.

You take the All Star, pure PG by giving up the good but not great SF every time.

Driving on my home from work I really thought about this parsons situation. These are questions morey & staff are asking. With spurs (Parker OUT) clippers (reddick OUT) I think the time is now. & the league see is as fav. In west if we get RONDO

    1. Does morey know les is not going to pay him already ?
    2. Does he have more value now or next year at deadline as an expiring when teams know he's about to be a free agent ?
    3. Who makes us a better playoff team rondo PG or SF parsons ?
    4. Both expire 2015 we remain flexible.
    5. Would morey rather want parsons bird rights or rondos to pay $10-15mill to & still be able to chase 3rd star?
    6. Parsons is the glue now because bev starts and we need another playmaker besides harden. Will parsons playmaking skills still be needed when you bring in an playoff experience ball dominate TRUE PG ?
    7. Will more of a lockdown 3&D guy be needed at the 3 in playoffs ?
    8. Parson 40% from 3, How has parsons D been lately, is he going to slow down Durant, Crawford, George, lebron in the playoffs ?

Morey would be a joke around the league if he doesn't form a big 3 of HOWARD, HARDEN, RONDO because parsons got in the way. It's tough as homers that we don't want to see him go, but defense is more important when you bring in rondo not playmaking at the 3.

I voted Parsons, but with caveats.

    1) Can Rondo regain his former game?
    2) Can we hold on to Parsons in open bidding?
    3) Whose skill set is more replaceable?
    4) The more I think about it, the more Rondo's "D" may help us more than Parsons "O".

Rondo. The clubhouse cancer. Apparently Ray Allen bolted Beantown because of Rondo. And Rondo has apparently butted heads with Danny Ainge (GM) as well. Been looking to unload his toxic attitude for a couple years now.
We have great chemistry right now, which I helps win games.
Bad chemistry can destroy a team with great talent.
Parsons or not, I'm not sure Rondo is a good fit.

    Yeah very.

Name me the last time a pure, All-star PG led a team to a championship or was a significant factor?

Take away Parker and your talking Isaiah Thomas. Rondo was not a key piece in 08.

PG is the most overrated position.

Give me the glue guy with the team first attitude who can nail the 3 ball. I think Rondo would hurt chemistry plus he can't shoot.
