True. They paid $100 for a glorified "mic stick thingy." I can tellz my thing to open Netflix which takes more time than pressing right then X. The PS4 has a touch pad on the controller which is better than some gimmicky ass kinect.

You CAN but you don't. Well, maybe just you. I'm not going to upload my music to my console anyways. Plus, there is no Pandora app which would make what you said relevant to me. Also, I won't be able to hear the music from my room in the kitchen without upsetting the neighbors.

 

No, you didn't go 27-5. You went 4-5.

The only "kill" (that is killing another player) is pilot kills. Everything else is NPC. The grunts and Titans are NPCs. Titans, because most of the time when you kill the Titan the player ejected safely.

Look at the column "Minion kills" those are dumb AI dude, not players.

If you'll notice, the guy at the top went 15-4. Much to learn you have. Much to learn.

 

And to re-iterate one more time about the Kinect: I am not disputing its potential and coolness as an everyday media navigator. I'm not disputing that for those that don't already have two screens side-by-side like myself, screen-in-screen Netflix while gaming is a nice feature. And I'm certainly not disputing the sheer nerd-gasm of going all Star-Trek Captain Picard-like and being all "computer, play me some Mozart!"

But as a gaming peripheral, notsomuch.

 

There were not any bots and I ran around and killed players who looked like me is what it felt like. I thought the pilot kills were when I was in the Titan.

This game is stupid either way. If it is what you say then killing bots is just as whack. Why would they mix bots with real players?

 

So it went from being too easy, to stupid because you didn't realize you were "raping" NPCs?



Alright buddy.

The bots are there because they allow you to unlock your titan sooner. Which gives terrible players, like yourself apparently - the chance to get Titans too. It keeps teams from camping/turtling so the other team can't get Titans as quickly.

 

I still had the second highest KR in the game and most minion kill. Much to learn? That was my second game. If I can tell the players apart from the bots I would find them and own them instead.

 

No, because they are using bots period. Why even put them on the field?

It's still easy if you tell me how to tell apart a player from a minion. I can show you.

 

Now you're touting how awesome you are because you had the most minion kills? Skill players ignore them unless they are directly in their way, and that is why he had 15 kills.

Also, this is why they have minions, I edited my post to clarify...

You went 4-5, and you think you did great. There's your problem. The game isn't easy, you simply have no idea what great is.

 

Hhahahahahaha, your kills are against bots, not human players...you have a 0.3 KD against humans. Out of your 26 kills, only 4 of them are against human players. The rest of your kills are against bots, AI controlled players, which contribute almost nothing for your team.

Easy game, huh?

 

The stats are broken. I only played 2 games. How is my lifetime different than my last 10 games? Broken game is broken and it drops 2morrow.

I like how you're scared to tell me how to tell them apart. You know I will get an amazing KR and post it here if you do.

 

Last 10 games vs players includes my last 2 which is .7 KDR. You guys are trolls if you think that's bad, especially with me not knowing this game uses friggin bots.

 

Netflix is part of the voice controls which is part of the xbox which is part of the discussion. You're running around in circles.

 

Im not saying its bad...my KDR is 0.8. Im just saying, it's not an easy game like you were touting earlier.

 

Generally in shooters a KDA of 1:1 is average. Anything above that is good, 2:1 and you are getting in to the pretty good range and 3:1+ you're great.

As an example, in my favorite game I've put the most hours in (thousands), TF2 I have a KDA of 2.18 on my favorite servers. Most other games, I'm at the 1.25-1.5 range at best. I'm far from great - and I know it. You sir need a giant piece of humble pie.

Don't come in here with your .7 KDA and act like the game is easy. Just admit you made a dumb mistake and thought minion kills were NPCs. The game isn't easy, and you've proven that.

 

You're talking about how fast you load something. I am talking about how fast you can load discs. You can't have a monopoly on load times, buddy.

That's how Xbox people are.

 

I was never talking to you about loading discs, Im not sure where you came up with that.

Look back, you quoted something I said, then you said that you can click a few buttons faster than I can say "Go to Netflix".

You were the one talking about Netflix...You're either confusing me with someone else or you are confused about what the discussion was about...but Ive never once mentioned anything about loading times or discs or any other random topic you want to come up with.

 

...and? What's your point? I never said total true immersive gaming was cheap. I'm saying the Kinect ain't true immersive gaming.

As I already said, yes, the new version is shinier and more responsive and has a higher resolution. That doesn't do much to change its fundamental applicability to games.

You know what the difference is between an HD camcorder and an SD camcorder? One's HD.

 

You do realize, you only load the disk once, right? Once it is loaded it is loaded. Also, you can play the game on the Xbox One, as it is still loading.

Either way, considering countless people (such as myself) don't even mess with disks this is a moot point. Also, your "times" that were posted are out of date as both systems have received updates since then.

And... If you want to talk about pre-load times, let's talk about PS3 shall we? How about update times?

Once my Xbox is on, it is never off. So everything is instant. So this entire argument is stupid.
