I think this will get lost in the garm with the deadline news is all people want to talk about, with all the injuries around that team, is this the one thatt breaks them?

    Reactions on twitter

@jadande: Gregg Popovich says Tony Parker out "for the foreseeable future" with a "variety of maladies."

@jadande: Basically RT @rlebeau32: So in other words, he needs rest for the playoffs.

@ZachLowe_NBA: Good thing he played All-Star. RT @jadande: Gregg Popovich says Tony Parker out "for the foreseeable future" with a "variety of maladies."

@BimaThug: @ZachLowe_NBA @jadande Yep, I'm sure Goran Dragic (who stood to earn a multi-million dollar bonus w/an All-Star nod) REALLY appreciates it!

Pop must be real confident in the squad, they are only a couple games ahead of Houston.

We may have passed them anyway. But with Parker out, they're in big trouble. It sounds like age and a lot of mileage have caught up with him. He's been playing year-round which is never good for an NBA player. Just ask us Yao Ming fans.

Having homecourt advantage or having your star player healthy? I take the latter.

I just don't get Pops thinking, but if it somehow benefits the Rockets I say sit him as long as you'd like.

Looking at the Spurs schedule the next three games, Pop is probably thinking it'll be really tough to win those so might as well get him some rest.

Pop has money on this game too though -- but he bet on the Clippers.
