If the Rox get Rondo, the team better make an exception for him regarding the "layups and threes" strategy.... Not to mention setting screens all game. (Not just certain times in the game.) Otherwise his offensive game will be muzzled here.
I'm a huge Kyrie fan... But unless Kyrie makes some gains in strength and mass (a la Goran Dragic), I don't think he'll do well when defenses get intense and the games get physical. I do think Harden is better suited for the post-season than Kyrie.
If a trade happens with Asik I hope it is OKC... Lamb, Adams, Jackson and (filler Perkins) ...for... Asik, Garcia & Brewer Win / Win for your both teams. Best return we could possibly get for him.
If Parsons is going to get big time paid is this a way to handle it? 2 Separate trades Houston sends: Omer Asik, Omri Casspi, Brewer to the Cavs for Luol Deng. Houston sends:Jeremy Lin, Francisco Garcia to Charlotte for Ben Gordon and Jeff Taylor. Reason: Get out of 2014 contracts of Lin and Asik and take back expiring contracts that can still give you just about the same chance to contend this season, while freeing up cap space this offseason to extend Parsons. New lineup: Beverley/Brooks/Canaan Harden/Gordon Parsons/Deng/Taylor Jones/Dmo Howard/Smith This offseason you have the option let Deng and Gordon walk or bring them back for less. Under contract going into Free Agency next season: This gives you plenty of room to resign Parsons. and add key reserves like the Heat did.

Would make for some interesting depth. Rondo/Bev/Brooks (no problems here) Harden/Bev/? Parsons/Garcia/Casspi Millsap/Casspi/Smith Howard/Smith Signing Camby is a must. Bringing Covington into the rotation may be needed as well with the run to the playoffs. That starting lineup will get you far, it's the bench that will prevent you from winning it all.
I'm not a lof but I'd like to keep lin as our 6th man. Trade bev and asik and some future picks. Then yet again I'm skeptical of rondo after the acl tear. Sure his game wasnt all on his athleticism but his slashing was the gorgeous cherry on top of that phenomenal passing. I'd rather go after knight or blesdoe (for his defense)
Phoenix should be VERY INTERESTED in Asik, however if their owner is frugal he won't pay $15 million for him next season. The Rockets owner will have to send money in the trade, but we don't know if he is willing to do that. Also, highly doubtful the Suns will trade Plumlee, in my opinion.
The Suns don't need another C. Plumlee has been great this season and Len is their future franchise C.
Nice proposal ... why not a 3-way trade so we could keep Jones and DMo: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kzj4rvl Several draft picks could work ... Rondo/Bev/Canaan Harden/Garcia Parsons/Casspi/Covington Millsap/Jones Howard/DMo/Smith
