I think people are heavily underestimating our spacing issues if this trade does go down, especially considering our lack of a stretch 4. At least Garnett could consistently knock down 20 footers when teams would sag 10 feet off rondo and completely disregard Perkins' corpse. Tjones and dmo are just not good enough shooters to offset the problems they'd face against intelligent defenses. If this trade does happen, someone like Ilyasova or Milsap need to be headed here too.
I could see playing harden more at the SF position, with rondo and Beverly as an elite defensive back court and Beverly spotting up from 3 competently. Hardens liability is lateral movement and he would do better guarding SFs.
