What team is giving up lottery picks in this draft? I could see a team like the Cats doing it but then again...they are in the playoff hunt.

All the teams that I could see doing it are in the playoff hunt, the rest of the teams are throwing their season down the drain to acquire these lottery picks. So they are going to have to deal with teams like the Rockets.

Harden wasn't a superstar then either man... Geez

He was a 6th man that only put good numbers up cause he was going up against second unit... He won't be a nba level starter and his efficiencies will nose dive in that role with defense keyed in on him as main target

THAT is what every analyst and most ClutchFans members like you said at the time if harden trade..... Post like these drive me nuts ... Completely oblivious

The one thing to consider about RONDO is he is well respected by DANNY, just like Danny gave pierce & kg a chance to go to a contender, he may do the same with rondo VS sending him to the kings or lakers. As long as he gets back a solid package.

Its a respect thing that rondo could be ok with being traded if he goes to a contender, and Danny does that for him. I think Danny would run a trade by rondo before it happens and look for the one that helps rondo also

Rondo is incapable of playing off the ball because he shoots the ball like a drunk 12 year old, that's why he doesn't fit with the team.

Best case - Harden gives up ever having the ball and turns into nothing but a shooter who never has the ball and we get killed by any team with a good frontcourt because we gave up all of our depth

Worst case - On top of all of that Rondo poisons the locker room as he's wont to do and Harden and Howard decide to leave after a few years.

Dang your analysis is on point. Why aren't you working for a NBA front office?

Rondo would also cure the turnovers which is huge in the playoffs

Plenty. I think there is a good chance that no huge deal is done and Asik hangs around through the rest of the year.

Would rather give up T-Bird + 2 first rounders than Chan.

Also people on here acting like Cyberx is personally assaulting Chandler Parsons.

Chilllll. Just reporting what he hears. Infinite amounts of packages are likely discussed in any trade.

So you're telling me that the Thunder didn't know that James Harden was good and that if the Rockets trade Parsons that he will be a superstar.... and that I'm the oblivious one....

    ok thx

This move would take the ball out of Harden's hands until he is in position to score. That alone makes Rondo a good fit. Say what you want about Rondo but he can run an offense as well as any player in the game. You need that when you have a ball stopper at SG and a coach who can't draw up plays.

Exactly. Can't believe people are willing to give up a proven champion for someone who'll probably be overpaid in the future.
