You don't wait to get a star, if it's there to get now...plus, I dont see how we keep 3 stars AND still pay Parsons. He'd be a one year rental, who leaves for nothing.

We should add value by taking back Wallace's contract instead of giving Parsons. We could use the wing defender.

Parsons is too much if you are worried about Rondo never being as good as he was.

Rondo is a facilitator but not a good shooter. Not a very good fit for harden and howard

Damn...I'm starting to believe that if we're giving up Parsons then another trade afterwards must be in the works...

    Kevin Love?

I don't consider Rondo a third star at this point. My saying this will probably make Rondo completely healthy and make me a fool though.

Repped....You said it better than I could.

The Rockets are probably testing the market for Parsons.

That said we can't give up Parsons. He is too good of a fit.

Good two way SFs are rare in the league like centers. Morey has said this himself. He brought up how they're second to Cs in getting overpaid.

Batum isn't a close to being a franchise player yet was able to sign a near max deal.

Awful fit..a deal like this if it didn't work might really start to raise some serious doubts abut Morey's judgement

I like Rondo, but am not sure how he would fit.

I would def not look to give up Parsons in any trade right now.

I seriously doubt Parsons will be traded, it will more like Asik, Lin, Brewer, Garcia, and maybe TJones.

LOL. Ainge is doing his yearly Rondo ass parade around the league looking for a taker. Just this season it has gotten CF in some teenage girl hormonal emotional tizzy.

I love Rondo's game...but the thing here is that it's going to take Morey awhile to rebuild the depth we trade to get Rondo.

Rondo/Harden/Dwight ARE good enough to win chips...if Dwight can continue to return to his Orlando form (and I think he has) and if Rondo and Harden can coexist.

I think they can. People think Rondo is going to take shots away from Harden but Rondo is a assist hog. He doesn't give a ____ about points, he'd rather have a 5 point and 20 assist game than a 20 point and 5 assist game...and Harden would rather have the latter. The thing is if Harden would enjoy getting a lot of his shots off the ball...which I think he can get used to if he's getting easy buckets all night.

Again though, the depth hit on a trade for Rondo would be huge...and I'm not sure I'm willing to take that. If it were Love or something sure...but Rondo I'm not so sure.

At some point in time Morey will have to settle on a core and build around it.
