At the farewell tour press conference the director said if things go right they could start shooting as early as this summer.
Anyone else going to the Woodlands show? Oh and fun fact, the music video for Home Sweet Home (the original not the crappy 91 version) was filmed at the Summit.
Well the song was released in 1985, but I did hear that they played it twice that night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WAZ60xA9wo

Wow -- what happened to the Mars guy? Was he like 50 during their heyday, or did he have a stroke, or exactly how much coke did he do? Wow.
Lol he was like 30 and the rest of the guys were like 19-21, they're all pretty old now though lmao Vince Young looks completely different. In keeping with the Crue talk what are ya's favorite album/songs? I pretty much only like their stuff from '81-'91 with "Enslaved" and "Afraid" being the exceptions. Fav has to be Shout, but you can't go wrong with any of their 80s albums. Song is probably "Stick to Your Guns" from their first album.
My favorite is Shout with TFFL a close second but the most underrated album is the one they did with Corabi that album kicks all kinds of ass.
Wished I could go. I saw them with KISS and they still rocked the show. It smelled funny around me, though.
The man has a serious hip problems and it's a miracle he's even alive. Show some respect to our elders!
According to the internet he is only 4-6 years older than Nikki Sixx. Also says he has a disease that is like arthritis and scoliosis and is now 3 inches shorter than he was in his teens. My Crüe fandom didn't last that long. Last album I bought was Girls, Girls, Girls and I got rid of it in the 90's because it didn't age well. I guess Shout at the Devil is what I would consider their best.
I was at that show. From watching the music video, it was kind of hard to tell where it was filmed. I just remember a lot of smoke machine smoke on the stage and these cameras circling around on these camera booms on the stage. Those days were hilarious. We were all such rebels taking a limo to the show partying it up. Definitely a high school band. The music just doesn't do it for me any more. It's definitely last century music. I suppose it would be okay to see them again for nostalgia reasons...but I probably wouldn't buy tickets for that reason alone. They are just an 80s band that never really grew out of the 80s imo.
I'm definitely only into the Crue music from the 80's. I'd say Shout at the Devil would be my favorite album, probably followed by Girls Girls Girls with Too Fast for Love close behind. Dr Feelgood was a little too pop-ish for me and I don't really like most of the songs on Theater of Pain. And the 90's and later stuff doesn't really appeal to me, though I think Primal Scream from Decade of Decadence is one of their last best songs.
