Confirmed via Major Nelson - Titanfall Beta opening up to all Xbox One owners. http://majornelson.com/2014/02/15/xbox-one-titanfall-beta-opening-up-to-everyone/
By the time I finished downloading, it was 2 am...then I had to do all the training stuff before entering a game. I only played two games....but damn, game is packed with action. Tons of fun. I don't think id like 8v8 at all. There is enough going on and more than enough titans to face as it is. Adding more to that would seem like a bit much. Graphics wise, nothing to rave about on the xbox...but the action and game play is definitely a breath of fresh air. I'm interested to see the xbox one numbers for March to see if the game can make as big of an impact that I think it can make.
anyone playing the PC version? sounds like from the xbox side if they make some tweaks, which i'm sure will happen its gonna be a can't miss.
Dammit, I wasnt planning on playing the game this weekend, so I have a bunch of activities with the wife...fml. I keep coming home, playing one game...leaving for an errand, coming home, playing a game...leaving...fudge. I cant wait to just play a couple hours straight. The game is freaking awesome.
I've been trying to score a PC beta key for a while, no luck. Since I'm traveling this week I won't be on the Xbox One beta :-/
Finally got around to playing it, even after having it installed for the past 2 days. I can see the appeal of the game but it's too COD for me. Fast-paced action but not very tactical.
Yeah, I have a GAEMS USNC Vanguard system too which it fits in. Just means I have to check my main bag - which I hate doing.
Honest question since my FPS experience is limited to COD and BF...is there a such thing as fast paced action that is tactical? Seems like if you want tactical, then it would have to be slow paced. Since Ive never gamed on PC, Im very naive on the topic. The game definitely has more tactics to it than a regular COD game though...maneuvering around the map and constantly dealing with Titans requires some tactics if you want to play it at a high level...at least, they add elements to the game that most console players havent faced. I do agree it lacks the tactics required for a real war, but then again, this is robots and jet packs we are dealing with. If people arent into COD, there is a chance that they wont like this game because its like COD on steroids. I do like the adrenaline and action, so I'll roll with it for now. We'll see how long the enthusiasm lasts.
