If we kept dragic I dont think we would have been able to get Howard as easy as we did

It's easy to love a players coach, that's is why they are a players coaches they let players do what they want.

No shots for Dragic with Harden and Howard.
I don't think Dragic would take a bench spot as lightly as Lin has.

More Drama with Asik and Dragic.

Dragic sounds like Houston didn't really have a chance with that contract offer.

Dragic would be starting and probably playing heavy minutes.

No, he wouldn't. If he did, he'd be playing the same role that Lin's playing now.

Of course not, dude was playing great and he got more guaranteed money from Phoenix. Everybody one here would do the same.

Lin has had many good games playing with Harden before.

So you are right, Dragic would be in the same role as Lin is if he was playing along side Harden. The only difference is Dragic would not go on streaks of passiveness, and he would consistently produce on the court.

One of those... Such a great guy off the court; and absolute assassin ON the court.
You want those on your team.

That's pure speculation. If Dragic's not playing traditional PG, he's going to be way out of his element too.

Dragic is a much better player than Lin. Even without best fit, talent would win out.

Why? Goran's cap hit per year is smaller than Lin's and Lin himself said he wasn't part of the recruiting process for Dwight. Dragić's the better player, too.

Dragić was one of McHale's favorite players, he absolutely loved Gogi. There's no way that Beverley would play in front of him.

How is what you initially said any less of a speculation? Nobody knows what Dragic's role would be if he was in Houston.

Furthermore, Dragic plays SG in Phoenix when Bledsoe is healthy, and Dragic has had success playing with Bledsoe.

He seemed to be doing just fine next to Bledsoe before he got hurt.

Well, if simply liking someone better is reason enough to start them, it would explain what's going on now.

Well, if you haven't been following the Rockets before Lin signed for Houston, it doesn't mean you can properly evaluate Dragić's skills when you simply didn't watch him play under McHale.

We only know what we saw. Dragic never averaged more than 14 or 15 points as a Rocket. (11.7 pts and 5.3 assists as a Rocket in 28 minutes, solid but nothing spectacular)
You can thank Lowry but that dude was injured after a couple of months.
He simply took advantage of the situation in Phoenix, with Bledsoe hurt, and just became almost an allstar. He never was close as a Rocket (ESPN had him at Top 85-88 player).

Fact is he is a good player but speculation is that he would average close to 18-20 with Harden and Howard becoming that 3rd star.

He needed the ball as much in his hands as Harden. After all Phoenix is not Houston and vice versa.

This whole thing is a charade of speculation.
Bledsoe and Lowry played like Allstars but you have to play it more than one season. Constantly. And I used to like Goran and Zoran too.

Clutch once again trolling the LOF vs LOH. You would never see clutch put up a video about Patrick Patterson.
