If he goes to the Lakers, Kobe and Melo will take EVERY, and I mean EVERY shot, including immunization, tetanus, and flu shots! They will quickly have a shot shortage in LA...

It actually is kind of his fault that the Knicks are the way they are. If he had shut his mouth and went in free agency he would have had much better teammates. That roster was completely gutted for him and it wasn't necessary.

No way. All your rep should be confiscated. In all the years I've been here, this one. You dropped the ball.

I really don't see Melo staying in NY unless they, at least, win in the 1st round of the playoffs this year. They're currently 3.5 out of the 8 seed, so I dont see it happening unless they can vault up to the 6 seed.

With that said, I would absolutely LOVE for us to get him. We'd essentially have TEAM USA basketball...but he won't take the pay cut.

I think he ultimately winds up in LAC or DAL, unfortunately.

Everyones been grouping with their star homies since the NBA started not sure why people like you are realizing it only now. Didnt Larry play with a big 3? Didnt Tmac go to Orlando to play with Grant Hill? Didnt Kobe throw a tantrum and threaten to leave LA unless they gave him talent? Didnt MJ play on a roster that reached the NBA finals without him?

Only diff is you have players doing it instead of GMs.

It was necessary...as he wanted max money. This is just useless posturing by Melo yet again, as he wants max money for his contract. If he really wanted to win he wouldnt have forced his way to NYC.

If I were the Knicks, I would trade Melo. The Knicks need to get rid of those contracts they have. Just a total mess of an organization.

Yep. When he let the whole world know that he ONLY wanted to go to New York, I figured winning a championship was not his priority. Glamor was. There were other teams that had a better outlook than the Knicks. Heck, Denver was a better team than New York.

He got the roster he wanted, JR Smith, Kenyon Martin, Raymond Felton, all of his old homies. Now he says he doesn't want to sleep in the bed he made because it's full of ****.

Despite all the Melo hate, you know Morey has already texted the Knick a bunch of times with trade offers. Melo would make this team a championship contender no matter how much the Knicks are sucking.

    Translation:

I want to play in the city I want to play in.

I want to play the style of game I want.

I want to shoot when I want.

I want to make the most money possible.

Oh I also want to win a Championship.

It is a joke, he wants a championship but not as much as the other things... He isn't leaving NY.
