You mean the NSA might become a new source of trade rumors.

If there were any hackers who were NBA fans, this could be a pretty solid trolling opportunity. Imagine faking a GM into leaking deals of a trade for a potential player when he wasn't even on the table. Jimmies rustled everywhere.

One of the league's longer-serving executives has grown used to texting, having regretted it only once -- when a rival tried to turn their messaging into a legal document. "In his text he was saying, `You agreed to this and put it in writing,"' he said. "It made me mad that he was putting words in my mouth that way. We still did the deal, but after that one I got leery about going deep in texts. Still, it's such a common form of communication that we're all pretty comfortable with."

Maybe the Perkins for Jeff Green deal?

Mock us Blackberry users all you want, but that BBM technology is the reason why a lot of GMs still use them.

Very interesting Carl. It is a process issue that exposes NBA teams to technical issues. I wonder if Morey appends a legal disclaimer to the end of all trade texts? I would.

Uhh....BBM is literally the same as iMessaging, and iMessaging is arguably better because you can use it on more devices (laptops, tablets, etc.)
