I wish Tupac could come back from the dead and destroy this guy, and also destroy chris brown, and screw rihanna
    ---------

Any other person would respectfully accept that, but not Drake. He tweeted, which have now since been deleted:

“I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.”

“I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.”

No way, eh? He's mad about someone choosing someone over him for a cover. Over-sensitive, eh?

I don't really know who this Drake person is other hand he's a rapper and he's a Raptors fan, but in fairness to him this is what he wrote (from your link):

[rquoter]"I completely support and agree with Rolling Stone replacing me on the cover with the legendary Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He is one of the most incredible actors of our time and a man that deserves to be immortalized by this publication. My frustration stemmed from the way it was executed. The circumstances at hand are completely justifiable (on the magazines behalf), but I was not able to salvage my story or my photos and that was devastating. They ran the issue without giving me a choice to be in it or not. I would have waited until it was my time because I understand the magnitude of the cover they chose but I just wasn't given that option and that made me feel violated. I apologize to anybody who took my initial comments out of context because in no way would I ever want to offend the Hoffman family or see myself as bigger than that moment. I am still the same person. Today I was forced out of my character and felt the need to react swiftly."

^ What about it? He still sounds selfish and egotistical. Don't you think? Who gives a CRAP about "when it's your time" if it's at the expense of someone who died? REALLY, "in fairness to him"??!?!

Reads like a line from a dungeon and dragon themed book.

Anyways, this DrakeDude needs to wait his turn. We are still not done honoring a cocaine user who died of over-dose and left two young kids behind.

This rap generation bothers me. They act like they are entitled.
they rap about wealth and the good life.

Tupac rapped about the thug life.

    That was real.

I'm sure I'll be flamed like he was, but I don't totally disagree with him, and I don't even like the guy (and I was a fan of Hoffman). If he was promised the cover as a contingency to the interview, he has a right to be angry.

A druggie actor injected himself with too much heroin and died. Honestly, how much respect has to be paid to that person? It's sad, but let's not act like this is John Lennon getting murdered or the pap causing princess Diana's car to wreck.

Shoulda brought in his boy Manziel for backing. Or at least offered to include him on the cover which surely trumps that dead drug addict.

I'm not a Drake fan, but people need to read everything he said and not some BS headline

People gonna make sensationalist headlines just to draw publicity and attention. Drake's comments are reasonable and not inflammatory to Hoffman's death.

It's like tinman spinning this headline:

"Tracy McGrady donates millions to Darfur, doesn't care about illegal human trafficking"

    when his true opinion is:

"Tracy Mcgrady fails to lead the Rockets to a playoff series victory.. EVER"

Tupac was a good story teller who fabricated a beef to sell records. Yup, thug life.

The dude was talented and educated.

Don't hate on that because he was thug and educated.

    Let's blame the media instead.

    1. Terrible headline - portrays the wrong idea for hits.

    2. My bet is that Rolling Stone chose Hoffman for the cover to sell more magazines.
