The Arizona Cardinals have been around for a long, long time, and even in Arizona, their general futility (Warner years an exception) dates back 25+ years. The Texans are an apples and oranges comparison. In terms of fans of other teams -- who I generally interact with a lot on Mizzou boards -- they view us as an infant. For starters, you can basically forget anything that happened in the first three years. Expansion teams are going to suck out of the gate, except for the Carolina/Jacksonville situations with different cap rules. Everyone understands this. You could have the best coach, GM and owner in the world, and there's just not a lot you can do that quickly. To the average fan, the Texans have had 8-to-10 "real seasons". In those, they've won eight or more games (.500 or better) five different times. Won the division twice in the past three years. Won a playoff game in two of the past three years. Sorry, that's nowhere even close to the level of teams like Jacksonville and Oakland. I get why diehard Texans fans have a woe-is-me attitude, but if you think the league as a whole perceives this as one of the worst franchises, you're not taking enough of a step back.
Sure you can. You just might not have co-workers that are very pleasant. I miss having an office, tbh.
Nice footwork: <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/kaWfvvhE_z/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe> (in case the embed doesn't work http://instagram.com/p/kaWfvvhE_z/)
Looks like a young man who will fill out in his body with no problem. That should be our QB for the next 13 years
And BTW, even though I think it's pre-draft gobbledygook propagated by no-nothing know-it-alls... - his hands look huge. Well, huge enough (if you know what I mean).
Quickest feet in the NFL. You can see why Teddy Bridgewater has no fear of throwing at the combine. While Manziel, Bortles and Carr running sit it out on the sidelines. during the passing drills. No one wants to be compared straight up against Bridgewater. http://nfl.si.com/2014/02/17/2014-combine-storylines-offense/
Bridgewater was named the #1 QB by Mayock so that can put that to rest, Bridgewater is clearly the best QB in this class, just like EJ Manuel was the best QB in last year's class.
Tebow 'fixed' his throwing motion taking snaps against air. We shall see if his new techniques will stick when the bullets are flying. That being said, I have a lot of confidence that Teddy will be able to adapt and be coached up.
