Um, no that was never the discussion, you tried to spin it that way. Your initial claim was that you can't tell a difference between 60hz and 120hz, nice try. Their website is having issues, keep hitting refresh or don't -- I don't care. And now back to Titanfall discussion.
No, I said that 60hz is ample enough for the average person to play on. Here's the actual argument buddy...
Beta invites are going out tomorrow according to Respawn's twitter. The people who are playing/streaming now are "friends and family". I guess the media, and random youtubers are friends/family now.
Got a code about 2 hours ago, but because my internet is awful, looks like the download (4.9 GB) isn't going to finish for another 3 hours, and by then, I'll probably go to sleep.
do you guys think my laptop would be able to run this game smoothly? specs: core i3 4gb ram intel 3000 video card
I don't know about smoothly, but it'll probably be playable. If you feel like bothering wading through the bs on the prior pages (I don't advise it), there's a clearer answer there. My opinion is you likely won't be happy with what you're seeing on your monitor, but you may find it playable. Only one way to find out (try the beta or eventual demo).
Well, loading it now. I'll get a chance to play after work. If anybody else gets it for PC, my Origin name is mrthi88. Would be fun to play with some Clutchfans.
You lucky SOB! I didn't get it for either Xbox or PC. I did play the alpha though last month and at PAX. You're in for a fun weekend.
You may have just barely made it... maybe. I've seen Source-engine games running on Intel 3000, but your mileage is going to vary based upon other system specs. Here are the official "minimum" requirements announced a few weeks ago.

Min: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1 AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz 4GB RAM 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT
— Vince Zampella (@VinceZampella) February 4, 2014

I got mine this morning - I am at the office, so I just redeemed at XBox Live and will DL when I get home
An HD3000 does not compare to those cards; Those cards are at least twice as fast with dedicated RAM. Source engine or not, you'll need to crank some settings to low and drop your resolution down as well. You'll end up with something like Delta Force-like graphics for sure to maintain decent frame rates.
Finished downloading, installing the beta as I type this. My Origin name is RGJ7 if anyone wants to play.
I got a beta key, but stuck at work and then have plans tonight, so probably won't be able to play til late.
