I think we should just stop talking about Lin good or bad until after All-Star break, it's getting really old.

 

Why blame the defense on any 1 player at all since these team switches so much. The Rox playing switching D night in and night out.

That's exactly what I saw. From Bavettas angle it was hard to see but the game cam showed it clearly. Still Ariza was pushing and bumping him before that but Bavetta didn't call that and he should have. The foul he called was a great fake foul and flop by Harden. I love him for it and hate Phil but Phil's right.

 

Ariza foul or not, Harden still had to make a shot in order to win the game. The Ariza foul call may have tipped the odds in favor of the Rockets somewhat, but the teams still got to decide the outcome.

I don't think we could have won situation like this earlier in the season.

 

I changed my stand after this game. Rockets need to trade LIN and/or ASIK and/or TJones for a backup center, a coach and a sixth man. Formerly, I always believe that even though McHale's not a championship coach, he has enough X and O's to bring Rockets to championship. Now, I think he isn't even worthy to be an assistant coach. Rockets need SVG.

 

I thought the added bonus was that it was Ariza's sixth foul. Ariza is pretty tall and a good defender. When he went out, it seemed like the floor was much more open for Harden to move of the next play.

 

Jones is too good to trade unless we get millsap. you want to see him develop like Lowry and dragic on other teams?

I want TJones but it seems he's too small to defend/score against some bigger PFs. I'd rather develop DMo a little bit. If somehow TJones can get some more strength down low, it will be worth developing him. Sadly, this ain't easy... Rockets is on a win-now mode.

 

Lin turnovers mostly come from being scared to shoot and then passing to a unopened teammate. He makes you want to pull out your hair!!!!
