And you guys thought $15million was too much for a back pg/ assistant coach next season.

"DMo for 3-mo! Take that, Clyde Drexler!"

...made me so happy to hear that.

No wonder the Rockets executed in the waning seconds. McHale wasn't drawing up the plays.

The Good: They kept their composure when things were going sour. They executed with perfection in the closing seconds of the game. James Harden made clutch plays, clutch free throws, and great decision making...ie taking it to the hole Euro-step'n his way to two points and the WIN. Amazing win that was a sure loss earlier this yr. Busty girl in the red shirt:eek:

The Bad: When the pressure rose, D12 went back to 1/2 FT shooting and made HORRIBLE passes out of the double team. J.Lin turn overs. Garcia hitting the side of the glass on a 3 pt attempt. Asik still has a TON of RUST. T.Jones travel. Terrible defense on Ariza. P. Bev out again. My heart beating outside of my chest!

So I wasn't able to watch the game. Reading the tread, did Bev and Lin draw up the last play?

Lin did great shooting. I guess he did ok D as well.. but those turnovers, I don't think they were because of Wall at all, they were just really dumb passes, like one where he threw one from half court (which didn't even arrive close to Tjones).

I feel like these kinda TOs are easily avoidable or preventable. If there is one thing I really wish he could improve on it would be taking care of the ball.

Harden did play D on that final shot by the Wiz. So I guess you could say he won the game for the Rockets at both ends of the floor.

And we though Lin was a good Christian. He's leading a player mutiny... in public!

no doubt. the heat in 2006, committed like a billion turnovers between their 2 superstars but as long as they got to the line as much as they did, it turned the tide.

but yeah manly passes to the post no soft lobs.

You have a point. If this team ever really "gets it together" they are going dominate the league. I'm serious. They have the physical skills. If they get the mental side of the game together they are going to be scary.

Lin IS from Harvard, so he worked out a formula for the play?

The only real thing that bugged me this game was D-Mo getting benched for Jones despite outplaying him on both offense and defense.

C'mon...SOLID defense by Lin throughout the WHOLE game, played well overall through 3 quarters. Bad bad bad 4th with those 3 TOs.

Bottom line though, that 3rd quarter with Ariza really messed things up and he was definitely not Lin's assignment. BTW, I wonder how many of those 14 asts were to Ariza.
