Harden went off for 25 in a victory against them in their place ( Wizards). So why would you want your Superstar out. Makes no sense.

Not good if bev is out wizards have the fastest attacking backcourt in the league.

Another bonus of having asik back is, we will have 48mins of elite rim protection, it won't be a cake walk getting to the rim in half court sets. Fast break points still maybe an issue with bev out.

Did that happen during the TWolves game? That's his third injury so far this season.

This will be an easy game. We are at home. We had a decent rest whilst the Wizards at the end of a b2b road trip. I don't see why we would lose this game except some catastrophic failure on the offensive end.

We almost blew them out last time on their home court without Parsons and Bev. No reason not to win comfortably tonight even if Bev cannot play.

There's no such thing as an easy win for this team. If there were any, it's probably not more than a handful.

Tonight is definitely winnable. But let's not pretend last time was a cakewalk... we "blew them out" for 3 quarters and then proceeded to let them close a 20+ pt differential in like 12 minutes flat. Securing a comfy lead and maintaining it is key. Want to get back to that stretch of games where we never trailed at home -- totally possible (IMO), provided they focus. I have to believe they realize the gravity of this game, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

This is a great time to be a Rockets fan.

    Bev is out?

My initial gut reaction is frustration. I was seriously looking forward to seeing the rockets fully loaded again. And Beverley has become the glue guy in my opinion.

My next reaction is... is Bev injury prone? That could be a real issue.

And then my neeeext reaction is... way too many injuries between games! Rockets need to stop practicing so #$%^ing hard!

And then my final reaction is... (puts on tin foil hat) they are just resting Bev so that they can showcase Lin and Asik for a trade. And I think this makes a lot of sense.

That is our identity but at least we are winning in spite of giving up big leads. I would like to see them blow teams out and don't give up leads. But that's basketball, the game of runs. The Blazers were up 12-14 on the Thunder and lost. The Thunder had the last run and were able to hold on to win 98-95.

Bev is injury prone. First was the rib "fracture" opening night, then the broken hand... now the abdominal strain. Asik may get traded, but Lin isn't being showcased anymore than usual.

Bev had a pulled muscle, not a fractured rib.

I would love to see them keep a nice lead throught the game to give some playing time to the bench like Garcia and Asik.. We really need to get them going to continue this nice push..
