This vid says it all about Teddy Bridgewater. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/2V0qU_vjkMU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Guys -- if you keep posting gifs and youtube videos of Ted facing AAC competition, maybe you'll convince somebody of your expert ability to spot talent. Or maybe the first 300 weren't convincing enough.

Maybe Matt Ryan is better than what we got. But Ryan just showed us he's useless if he doesn't have a bunch of playmakers around him... M.G. compared Teddy to Ryan and he referred to Ryan as a successful quarterback and I was pointing out he's only successful with help. Also Ryan suxks in the playoffs. His playoff numbers are horrible... And Jay Cutler and Matt Stafford are in the same boat. Individually those quarterbacks are successful because of the amount of their contracts but how successful are their teams with them. Julio Jones goes down and Atlanta can only win 4 games with the great Matt Ryan.... But yet the Jets go 8-8 with Geno Smith who has no one to throw to and he's a 2nd round pick.
On behalf of Matt Ryan this analysis is completely inept. This team is obviously built around it's offense. Ryan, Jones, White, Jackson (this season, used to be Turner) plus HOF TE Gonzalez all carried that team the past 3 years to the playoffs. There is no defense whatsover on that team. So to basically loose 3 of those 5 players this past season is a major hit for their playoff aspirations. The Jets on the other hand are a team that is being built around their defense and has made no effort whatsover to improve their offense. Yes they chose Geno and Stephen Hill the past few drafts early but these guys are not going to help that offense gain respectability. This is basically comparing apples (offensive oriented team) to oranges (defensive oriented team). This same team was one play away from the SB last season. That is more than just a contract talking. I bet the Dolphins and Rams would gladly swap Jake and Chris Long for Matt Ryan in hindsight.
A discussion board isn't just for people to sit around agreeing. If you keep making grandiose claims, they'll keep being called out.
And we've been watching Ryan for 7 years and all he's done was help his team make the playoffs and get kicked out and Atlanta had the benefit of playing in a weak division with Carolina and Tampa and that has changed which could be another reason why they won only 4 games. Knowing all this and you would still want Matt Ryan with the #1 pick shows that many quarterbacks are overvalued when they shouldn't be.
If you read my post on the next page over you will see where I said I bet Teddy would be a good quarterback with Julio, White, and Gonzalez to throw to (and Douglas)... That just goes to show that it's more about those guys than it is Matt Ryan. And the reason Atlanta can't spend money on defense is because they're paying Matt Ryan $100 million and have to put a bunch of money in the offense to help him succeed. And with Matt Ryan being paid so much if a player goes down he should be able to pick up the slack but he cant.
To be honest if it was just Matt Ryan on offense, but their defense had the likes of Jones, White and Gonzo type talent the Falcons would be a playoff team The defense was just horrendous for the Falcons
