I saw Brohm play many times and whatever scout had him rated top 5 should be fired. Nothing near the talent of Teddy.
Its a spelling error made on a mobile device, it has literally correlation with ones ability to think with clarity and have critical thinking, some that is lacking in these parts Ive seen alot more brohm than you
Are you going to actually watch him or depend on scouting reports??? Same things were spouted out about gabbert but the film showed otherwise
I have watched him, that's not the point, you guys love spouting off with the same BS so long as it is about Bridgewater. Sadly for Brohm, he was on the small side and it turned out that beating up on weak competition in college wasn't the same as in the NFL despite his big brain.....perhaps the same that will happen to your hero.
Edit: Bobby beat me to it, pretty much covered it already. "Teddy is better than those other busts!" Great argument. I am convinced! C-USA/Big East/AAC, what's the difference? Scouting report? "Go read, Teddy can do this, this and this!" Damn near same scouting report from a recent bust. "Oh those scouting reports are trash. Who relies on those anyways!?" HA! PS: Brohm played in a pro-style offense under Petrino. You Bridgewater fanbois can't accept that someone might not like TB as much as you and can't accept a negative word about him without getting angry. Not even worth discussing. No wonder that other Teddy Bridgewater thread got locked. Lock this one as well.
Guy A went to Louisville, Guy B went to Louisville, therefore Guy A = Guy B. Is that pretty much the argument? That is right up there with Guy A Is black, Guy B is black, therefore Guy A = Guy B. The human brain is designed to reduce things to general rules so that you don't have to rethink situations over and over. The problem is, it does so repeatedly when it isn't appropriate, and people don't see it. Racism is the most glaring example, but it happens everywhere every day in all sorts of contexts. And it's always stupid. If you want to take issue with Bridgewater, do it for something that actually has to do with Bridgewater. It's just lazy otherwise. It's what people who are incapable of actually watching and evaluating do. I mean, Teddy Bridgewater went to Louisville, and Rodney McCray want to Louisville, so maybe the Rockets should draft him?
Here, I'll throw the Teddy fanbois a bone <script type='text/javascript' src='http://WDRB.images.worldnow.com/interface/js/WNVideo.js?rnd=347553;hostDomain=www.wdrb.com;playerWidth=630;playerHeight=355;isShowIcon=true;clipId=9828857;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay'></script><a href="http://www.wdrb.com" title="WDRB 41 Louisville News">WDRB 41 Louisville News</a> http://www.wdrb.com/story/24694071/bozich-bridgewater-making-final-push-into-nfl
Perhaps that's all you are understanding, but that's not the argument. Guy A is a pro style QB from Louisville, is touted for a high football IQ and accurate passing, has a decent, but not cannon arm, is supposedly 6'3 and around 200 lbs and beat up on weak competition in college. He has good mobility, but isn't a running QB Guy B was a pro style QB from Louisville, was touted for a high football IQ and accurate passing, had a decent but not cannon arm, is 6'2 and a half and was around 220 lbs and beat up on weak competition in college. He had good mobility but wasn't a running QB I guess you could hear that and just take away that they went to the same school....
Stop it stop it, your being to sensible dude we dont tolerate use of complex thought beyond the level of a 3rd grader round here
Duh! If we Teddy fanbois say Teddy is gonna be great, then he's gonna be great! If you say otherwise, you're dumb! Not that mock drafts mean much, but if Teddy is so great, the greatest, why isn't he mocked to the Texans more? You see Clowney, you see Manziel, you see Bortles but Bridgewater? Maybe here and there, but not much. Why is that? Probably dumb former scouts and wannabe analysts. Hell, they're on the internet for a reason and not working in a front office {anymore}, right?
According to the Mock Draft Survey that the Texans website just ran, Bridgewater has received more #1 placements in mocks than any other player not named Clowney. And that was only by one vote. Link. I'm not saying that Bridgewater will succeed at the next level or not (I personally think he will, but can obviously not offer any guarantees), but it's unfair to say that he will bust because he has a similar playing style to a quarterback who went to the same school as him. They're two completely different players.
No one said THAT he will bust, but he is a very similar player to a guy who was a bust. I think the message is that he's by no means a sure bet unlike what some people who are trying to sell him would have you believe. Now that doesn't mean that the Texans won't decide to roll the dice and risk it antway because they absolutely could.
