We're 4 deep on point guards, and they might all be better than Felton. Surely there is some deal that we could make (to get Shumpert) that saves them from this Lowry trade. Lowry is good, but he's going to be a free agent and NYK are kinda a mess. I wouldn't give up real assets for someone who is a flight risk. Three of our point guards are locked at least through next season, and Brooks could be re-upped cheaply enough if they went that way.

Dolan is an intergalactic clown. Who cares if someone leaked? Pull the trigger or don't. He also got bent out of shape when Lin dared to sign a nice contract elsewhere. Let's not match; I'd prefer self-righteousness over winning, even though NY could have paid the luxury tax on Lin from its small change purse.
Jim Buss is the worst owner in the league. If you talk about an inflated ego, he ****ed himself over really bad and could have avoided everything if he just swallowed his pride. Glad he didn't though.
Raptors should trade him for Adonal Foyle, Mike Wilks, and a first rounder. Crazy how underrated this guy was for so long.
actually I'd very much do that. resign/extend Lowry to about 8-10 mill, restrict Parsons and resign him to 8-10mill. two borderline all-stars and two bonafide superstars and decent role players that is left over is major contender status. Lowry harden Parsons Paterson Dwight is a deadly starting 5.
If we are going to go that route, I'd prefer going after Taj Gibson over Patterson, maybe by sending off Asik to Chicago (or a third team) Lowry / Beverley / Cannan Harden / Garcia Parsons / Casspi Gibson / Dmo Howard / Smith I think that is a contender and I would be comfortable committing to that team for 4 years.
