Bill and Jalen are funny and all, but they just do not do their homework. Jalen probably barely watches games that are only on national TV. Anything he says is not credible because he doesn't do the research. They said Al Jefferson deserves to be on an All-NBA team for fck's sake. I feel the same way about the TNT guys. I just watch them for entertainment. For informed basketball discussion, I prefer reading Grantland articles or The Starters (formerly The Basketball Jones), because they actually try to watch EVERY single game.
To be fair, Jefferson has been great this year on both ends of the court. Probably not All-NBA but he has been damn good.
Al Jefferson is another classic case of per game stats being misleading. Averaging 21 points on 19 shots is hardly "balling", especially for a big man.
They've had Al Jefferson love since the off-season when he signed in Charlotte. They love his game because he does one thing, and does it well (scoring from the left block). Some of their man-crushes are ridiculous, but they are highly entertaining, so I'll give them a pass. I enjoyed watching all of their team previews, but you really can't go to them to get a truly informed, unbiased opinion on what's happening in the NBA.
Have you watched any of Big Al's games? Have you noticed the Charloteers are competitive? Why? Two reasons: Clifford and Jeff.
