    Varejao makes positive things happen on the floor. It's what he's always done. He would also be a steady playoff performer, unlike T-Jones (who I don't trust). On the other hand, last night in Minny, Asik grabbed 6 rebs in only 10 mins and protected the rim quite nicely while Dwight rested. If he continues producing and playing like he cares, Rockets have just added a valuable rotation player. Another thing to consider is who will have more trade value over the summer.

    Morey should not make this trade IMO.

    andy is the better basketball player though. better finisher, better passer. he can play spot minutes at PF depending on matchup (whereas asik can't play with dwight). i dont see why andy would be a downgrade.
