McHale benches random players just to troll Carl Herrera so that he can troll Clutchfans.

He is so humble and a great team mate, he doesn't speak out against racist McHale and Rockets.

Harden should get a tattoo that represents his struggles with McHale. It should involve stats, strippers and a hybrid picture of Dwight Howard and Lin's faces. That'll show him.

:grin::grin::grin: every game brings another stupid comment or thread about players not playing in the 4th.

the Rockets had a big enough lead that he didn't need to come back in

I am one that believes you put the player out again

so they have a chance to redeem themselves...

that is nothing new... use to be done since I started watching NBA ball in the 1970s

Were you keeping stats by yourself? If he was -27 in the 34 minutes he played, then the Rox were a +42 in the 14 minutes he did not play.

Edit - oops. I gotta read the dates!

If Steven A Smith was his coach, he'd be in the GOAT conversations by now. Even he knows that feelings are more important than actual results.

Harden is still hurt and playing hurt. He played 30+ stretch without sitting once.. I think McHale plans to run him to the ground and get a new 2 guard by the off season. No idea why when he's in a brickfest session while playing clearly tired or hurt he's still out there.

Looks like you fixed the sitiation, but interesting +/- stat tonight. Only Omer Asik was negative tonight in the +/- department.

I was proud to see McHale bench Harden especially when team started playing better without him. The team needs Harden to make it to championship level but Harden has to be better on both ends of court and more efficient. He started hurting the team in the 3rd with bonehead plays/TOs and bad offense.

Wow -it looks like you guys have been just waiting for this to happen to get all the LOF's back. Predictable, but well played nonetheless.

Harden didn't look 4 of 14 though. He had some nothing but net step back 3s in a couple sequences.

Harden has had two lackluster games in a row. He looks sleepy, foggy, slow. Maybe he has been hitting too many clubs. Whatever, I thought he deserved to sit. Hey Harden, get it to together, stay away from the strip clubs. (like that will happen).

He wasn't benched tonight, the team pulled away while he was on his regular rest and there was no need to put him back in.
