The Benching of James Harden by the Coach Kevin McHale

haha i love it, mchale is actually holding his players accountable recently, no surprise the team has gone on a 6 game win streak!!

Clearly McHale has an agenda. He allowed Lin to work out his bad shooting, but wouldn't let Harden do the same. I think it's because McHale hates black people.

 

Every1 got benched this year, so no biggie.
I for once like to c him go under 40 minutes (don't want him to get hurt)

Says +7. Unless you were being sarcastic? Harden should have been benched a couple times this season. Parsons rarely gets benched when he is having an off night. Im surprised he kept Lin in with his bad shooting, but he was definitely dishing it in the 4th with Bev playing good D alongside.

McHale sabotages Harden because he never wanted him to begin with. He came here for Kevin Martin. And Les just wanted Harden so he could make money off novelty beards.

I can't wait for Harden to go to a team where he's appreciated and not put on a short leash.

McHale didn't let Harden play through his mistakes.

How could you expect your 24 year old player to gain any confidence whatsoever?

Plus, the Rockets invested a max contract in him already. You just have to let him play.

Otherwise, we might as well trade Harden. Maybe trade him to the Lakers. It would be good for Harden's career and this team, better than having a max contract sitting on the bench.

I think hardens lackluster play was due to him being afraid of McHale benching him. If he was allowed to play without that fear, he could be the best shooting guard in the nba.

This demotion is a slap in the face, and James needs to stand up for himself against an insult. But we all know he won't because he's too humble and Christian.

 

I think the main reason that it's easier to bench a guard in our team compared to Parsons is that Parsons is much harder to replace with solid players on the court. Quite often Parsons below average game is still better than Garcia's and Casspi's...

 

Harden is being held back by McHale. Harden would be a LBJ or KD level player under any other coach. Here McHale and Rox system are marginalizing him and yet he is putting up big numbers despite being marginalized

 

Harden must be assertive and demand trade from this racist organization.
