    That's because the opponents get excited by being on the TV. Whenever the defense is tight, Rockets fold.

    I look forward to more halftime and postgame analysis after a big win, the commentators will continue to ask the same "are you sold on The Rockets yet?" question to which they will all reply that they are not yet sold on the (currently) hottest team in the NBA.

    It's ESPN, I don't think they have a direct contract with any team. They want ratings, and the Lakers have been stinking the whole NBA.
    I wouldn't blame them if they switch broadcasts mid-game to broadcast a more exciting matchup, like that Magic vs. Pacers game yesterday that turned out to be a huge surprise.

    I don't think that would ever happen, as there wouldn't be a ABC/ESPN crew to call the game or report from the sidelines of the more exciting game.


    NBAtv could pull that off, as they just tune in to one of the two teams local feeds when they air games on their network.
