Carl is so fi** annoying.. Am I bad for wishing that zombie would have gotten his leg instead of his shoe?
Yes, an emotional roller coaster. So disappointing to see Carl make it out alive. No. It makes you normal.
Carl was Damn annoying and disrespectful for most of the episode. But he came around later on Glad Michone found them
Love that movie. There were some consistencies between the two but I feel I could easily separate the two. It was Carl showing his rebellion to his father. It was obvious that he was trying to show that his dad wasn't the protector he portrayed to be, then he finally realized he couldn't do it all on his own and needed him more than ever. Good show, Michonne flashbacks explained a lot, very deep show. Excited for the second half of this season.
It was kind of troll job by the writers. "What? The fans hate Carl and want him killed off? Well, let's write an episode where he's the focus and where we make him even more annoying. Then we'll have him close to dying a couple of times because of his own stupidity but he won't actually die. Fans will love that. LOLZ." Maybe they made him more annoying just so that he could realize he was being a dick and use that to bring him back to something the fans wouldn't dislike so much. Aside from that, some of the foreshadowing was a little too obvious. Rick not wanting Carl to use bullets unnecessarily and then Carl running out of bullets later. Carl finding the letter from Joe, Jr. hoping somebody could kill his zombie dad because he couldn't, then Carl basically being in the same situation later when he thought Rick had zombified. The Michonne "flashback" was just kind of weird and while I got what they were trying to do, it seemed drawn out and poorly executed.
I personally liked the Michonne part but I always liked her backstory, not sure why they took so long to explain some of it on the show. F'ing Carl, so damn close to getting chomped on........
It was good but I hate how they just focus on certain individuals the whole episode. So, next week they will focus on everyone else and we will not see Rick/Carl/Michonne I'm guessing. What I don't get is didn't they have a fallback plan in case the prison fell...as far as a place to meet up with everyone? Why is Michonne and Rick/Carl walking around assuming everyone else is just dead or something? We know eventually the group is going to find their way back to each other. I guess they had no fallback plan in case things went south. But, then that would just be dumb.
I think you should know this, and I'm sorry to tell you, but you've been spelling the word "lose" incorrectly for your entire history on this message board.
The zombie scenes with Carl weren't even dramatic IMO. I thought they were corny and contrived. The writers weren't about to let him die in the 2nd half season opener. When Carl dies, they will go out of their way to extract the maximum amount of emotional drama. Translation: Rick and the others will be there when it happens. More than with most shows, I realize you have to lay cynicism down when watching TWD. But sometimes it's hard.
