Say no to calamari aka Squid jr. Best known as Marcus Smart. I'd trade up and take a chance on Dante Exum. If we stay put I'd pick the best defensive wing available. He will likely have shortcomings and or weaknesses but as long as he hustles and plays good D I'm willing to let him develop the other parts to his game.
I would love if we made a move to move up in the draft and picked up Jerami Grant from Syracuse. Currently projected around 10-16, the dude is a 6'58" SF who can guard the SG, SF, or PF position. Hes super raw, but he has a lot of potential with the right work ethic. This is the type of guy that can have an impact from day 1 in the NBA. As a role player, he wont torch someone for 20 a night, but his ability to sub in and lock down players is what we need. This is the type of guy championship teams look to draft. Guys to come in and cover their weaknesses. For those who want the lock down defender, hes it. We're just gonna have to make a move to get him. It can be done.
