I'm pretty sure that that was an illegal substitution…and a terrible call.

This from the guy who s###s himself and neg-reps whenever someone dares point out McHale's mediocrity. Keep the tin foil to cover your windows.

he has a penchant for leaving nasty comments via the rep system. his close friend moary gave him the green light to do so.

Not going to lie, I liked having Omer back. As long as he's motivated and playing well the 4 man big rotation looks pretty nice. Next year it should be even better.

Now we just need a dead eye shooter to come off the bench. 3d player.

*IF* he is willing to play he's a fantastic backup big man. We really couldn't hope for better. It wasn't too long ago we were all jizzing ourselves about the prospect of having elite defense at the 5 for 48 minutes... And then the TT experiment came and went, someone was benched, and a few months later... here we are.

If he plays hard and contributes, accepts his role and doesn't cause problems, then I am all for keeping him and rewarding him when the right trade comes along.

He's motivated to play well, because his agent probably told him it would be easier to trade him if he played hard before the All Star Break.

So was his agent's plan to sit him out for 2 months so that he can get out of shape, and then swoop in and dazzle GM's with a laboring 10 minutes a game for the 4 games before the trade deadline?

Well since he changed agents and fired his old agent, I don't think it's his current agents masterplan

No, probably more along the lines of "Get your a$$ on the court just to prove that you're not injured".

Other GMs already know what he's capable of as a starter.

Glad to have the big fella back and I hope we don't trade him. Wish we had some cap space in the off season though. If Kmart signed for 7 million a year then a pg like lowry could be had for the same rate. I don't think Lin can be traded for an expiring, but asik's 8.3 million can.

Waive all the 1 year deals, package Garcia with a second rounder and don't re-sign Mchale (which would be kinda sad since he is the reason the rockets traded lowry and have harden and howard today). Lowry and harden would easily be the best backcourt in the nba. The only problem is an ******* like mark Cuban who doesn't even need a pg would offer him more money just to stop the rockets from getting him.

I'm glad he fired his old agent. Chances are he received some bad advice from him and blames him for everything so he fired him. What made him think he was coveted like all stars such as Dwight, melo, and Paul who all earned the right to publicly request trades. Teams will always line up for their names alone. Omer asik is not gonna sell any tickets.

Good productivity in limited minutes last night. Not bad for being out of shape ...and a baby.

I too have to admit that I liked seeing him out there ...and I hate myself for it.
