Is Davis in the rookie/sophomore game? If so I assume they did it to save on travel expenses? I would have sent Dragic since Davis will make plenty of this games in the future. For Dragic, I imagine this was his only chance.
voted in by the greater monobrow community, Goran has been out of his mind but hard to argue with Davis
Anthony Davis got in because he's pretty high on the list of top big men in the NBA. Relative to list of top Point Guards in the NBA, Dragic isn't as high.
No way! CP3 is injury proned, and Tony Parker is getting older. Dragic will get his chance. He seems to improve with age!
In case you haven't been watching the NBA this season, Cousins has been improving his attitude this season. But I don't really blame you though, who watches the Kings?
This. Both were legitimate snubs. If the game were in Phoenix I bet Dragic would have gotten the nod.
The Pelicans have had a ton of injuries this year with some of their main guys missing many games. Ryan Anderson has missed half the season and he's out for the season. Jrue Holiday has missed half the season. Anthony Davis was hurt for like 3 weeks. Tyreke Evans missed time with an ankle injury and is still playing with pain. Jason Smith has missed the past 11 games. And other players have been hurt here and there throughout the season. They've been decimated by injuries.
In a couple years? The Brow is averaging 20.7PPG, 10.4RPG, 3.2BPG, and a PER of 26.66. Which center in the league right now is putting up numbers like that? Plus, he can knock down his free throws. He is Tim Duncan 2.0. Here are the only players that are higher than Brow in Player Efficiency Ratio: 1. Kevin Durant 30.88 2. Lebron James 29.12 3. Kevin Love 27.46 4. CP3 27.45 5. DeMarcus Cousins 26.73 Oh yeah, Cousins should have been picked for the All Star game too. Definite snub along with DeAndre Jordan who is leading the league in rebounds, FG%, and 3rd in blocks.
I sort of think Dragic should be in the all star game over Harden. Harden was definitely deserving of being an all star last year, but he's played like crap this year. I would even think Chandler Parsons is more deserving than Harden for this year. When Harden is out, the Rockets don't miss a beat, but they had trouble those games where Parsons was out.
How can anyone take your opinion seriously when you make false statements like "Harden's played like crap this year."? But you're a 13, so that likely explains it.
To start with, he plays no defense...not that he ever did, but he is especially complacent this year. Secondly, he just stands around on offense when he doesn't have the ball. There's no movement on his part. So his game is only shooting 3 pointers or barreling into the key in hopes to get a foul. Fortunately, he gets bailed out a lot with his kamikaze eurostep, but he is shooting like .328 from the 3 point line which doesn't help his team when he shoots it so often. And he averaged 3.6 turnovers per game. I mean, it's close between him and Dragic, but since Harden had a chance last year, Dragic should get his this year. Well, maybe over Harden or Tony Parker. Parker's numbers are down this year too and the Spurs are looking old finally with Leonard out.
