Blake > Love Aldridge > Love Nowitzki still this year > Love Duncan still this year > Love and Davis will soon surpass him, too. Yet, kids who play video games and fantasy leagues say Love > than all four. Fantasy Leagues RULE
I know you're just making fun of people who don't watch the clips and you're referring to Blake. But this pretty much reminds me of Deandre Jordan, maybe including a few putbacks.
If there's one thing that would be a silver lining in this post is that the clips wouldn't be one of the teams to compete against the rockets any longer. If minny were to trade love, the clips offering Blake would beat anything else out there. This makes it highly unlikely the clips give up Blake. Good news for us if love does becomes available. While i dont agree with all your comparisons with Aldridge, Blake, dirk, and Duncan....even if those were true.... Love is the only one possibly available in our window so I'd take Love on our team any day of the week.
The moment Love sits down, his team becomes useless, especially on offense. This idea that Love can't create his own shot is complete horse****, Love creates his own shot more frequently than Griffin does, and about the same amount as Aldridge does, and is more efficient than either of them (only slightly on Blake).
I'm glad Griffin broke through the DD curse and is becoming a more complete player. Like I've said before, the clips aren't going anywhere if Paul is their best player. Ball dominant PG's don't win big in the NBA unless you are Magic or Zeke, and neither were as ball dominant as Paul is.
Most complete PF in the game. Better than Love because of his dominance inside the paint. He isn't guardable down there and is one of the best passing PFs I've seen.
It's well past time you contributed to the board's upkeep. With the Clips and Rockets currently in position to meet in Round 1, this would seem like the perfect time for a tipjar wager, no?
Love is an awful defender, putrid defender while Blake is much improved on that end. He even has done a fairly good job on guarding Lebron. The same can be said about the Clippers without Paul. When Blake sits the offense becomes stagnant outside of Crawford isos.
Dwight actually doesn't get as many calls as he should probably because he is a center(sort of like Shaq). That being said Blake earns all of his calls. He gets hacked all the time and gets hit hard. Not to mention he has a much better post game than Howard whose post game seems to have regressed since 09. Dwight's post game is rudimentary at best and he isn't very good at passing from the post either.
