All the food there is quality. I know it's a chick spot, but the food is actually very good. I've had burgers, flatbreads, chicken and waffles, fresh fish, steak, soup, etc.
Like the thread and will check some of these places out. Never heard of this joint and it's real close to me, so I yelped it and came across the first review: Well, I don't feel like dealing with pretentious pricks, so I can try the other places first.
This place was on triple D's. So was Cafe Pita. I always liked Brown Bag Deli but haven't had it in a while. El Tiempo and Lupe's are solid. Peli Peli is a great, unique restaurant.
No actually. The food wont make your jaw drop but it's good. Just not spectacular. It's more about the ambiance. The place is just... cool/nice/different. I've heard chicks describe it as feeling like you're in a different country or time. I go for brunch and get the cheese/meat/jelly plate or the steak salad. Nope. Mainly Sandwiches has some lobster rolls that go hard. But me... I like a good spicy italian. I don't like Jewish style anything. It's too bland. Not a fan of Kenny and Ziggy's at all.
For those who are vegetarian, vegan and or try to eat organic food Harvest Grill and Ruggles Green are pretty good.
Little Jimmy's Deli. Make sure you order with jalapeƱo bread. Everyone I take there loves it. http://yelp.com/biz/little-jimmys-deli-houston
Anyone in Kingwood needs to try the Union Kitchen once. Very over-priced, but literally the best crab cakes I've ever tasted. Ribeye was pretty good too, but not really worth the price. I've had just as good for half the price at other places.
Went to The Shack in Cypress for the first time ever. It was good. Easily the best burger joint up here. I'll definitely be going back.
We tried the new place Gracie's this weekend. Fantastic, absolutely loved the fried Quail. Get there before 6 though or it's an hour and a half wait and they do not take reservations.
The Shack looks interseting. Need to get out there before the weather becomes unbearable to enjoy the outside patio
I went to Chulas the other day and the food was nasty but a few ladies looked good. Felt like I was in Mexico though.
