San Antonio @ Brooklyn 7:00 TNT Chicago @ Golden State 9:30 TNT There was no thread made for tonight's games, and I thought this could be the thread where clutchfans vent about how bad Brooklyn is doing against the spurs scrubs (no Ginobli, Duncan, Parker).
Brooklyn could not look any more horrid, but they're somehow only down 8. Deron Williams just doesn't look like he's got it anymore. Constantly injured.
Like the intiative newAge_. So yea, the Nets should just move again. No Parker, Gino, Duncan and they are getting pummeled. Disgrace.
just to think the asik + Lin for dwill could have happened. Asik & Lin would've turned that team around, and we would've been stuck with no D dwill $20mill a year until 2017
Popovich continually shows that the best talent is not needed to win basketball games. I would love to see what he could do with some of the underachieving, but talented teams like the Cavs, Pistons.
Patty Mills had a great game the other night too. They've been calling for Parker's head on SpursTalk for a while. I thought they overreacted but they have a point of Parker hero balling more than he should.
Dang D Will got hurt again...hope it's not serious. He could still be a top 3 point guard in the league, but the injury bug and the system are preventing him from reaching new career peaks.
Almost feel for Deron. Almost. Got that new deal and it's as if his body{or should I say legs/feet/ankles} just quit on him. That contract, if not already, will bite them hard in the ass, ala Amar'e Stoudemire.
Doubt it. Dude looks like a net negative on the court. No surprise they bridged the gap now that he's gone.
Wonder if the D-Will for Lin and Asik deal was really ever talked about. We would've been ripped off.
Why? D-Will will make as good a backup PG as Jeremy, if not better . And Asik has not been playing. In all seriousness, D-Will still has it, but can probably play only 50+ games a season.
You guys are right, but I am just shocked on how much he has fallen off since his days under Evil Sloan, and when healthy.
What I don't understand is why haven't the Nets coaching staffs adopted any of the principles of the old Sloan offense that Deron excelled in?
