Morey always talks up players he is going to trade, and downplays those he wants to keep.

The talk of TJones is a bit worrying given the above.

I know boston for sure wants asik but I think that's only if they keep rondo. Why would they want jones and they have sullinger ?

 

LA, BK, BOS, ATL, and Toronto have mentioned Jones or asked about him

 

I heard tonight that teams are asking for Jones along with asik. Which is why asik is still hear. So in other words the rockets with all this he's coming back a day before the trade deadline is basically a scare tactic, because DM is not cool with losing jones

Dang that's tough! I knew teams were probably calling but didn't know that many were. I would really like jones to stay here and develop, he has everything accept the shot, team D. & one on one D vs a big post pf. But it's his first year that will change. I think he just needs a solid vet back up who can teach him the game even more when it slows down in playoff situations & a guy who can help the team off the bench

But knowing morey he could "sell high" like Carl has been saying.

Tbh, I am hoping the duo of Asik and Jones can bring back a Raptor Storm consisting of Lowry, Patterson, Hayes and Novak!

 

As I said, Morey should consider trading Terrence while Jones is high. Of course the return has to be worth it tbh.

The TNT crew just called TJones "a black Chris Webber" or something so he is very good.

 

if Danny called wanting to give up rondo, sullinger, & humpfries expiring he would have my attention. What's deal with Lin ? Any team want him on that $15mill contract Or packaged with asik ?

 

Daryl has already traded away players just to watch them flourish elsewhere. Tjones is killing it.

I knew teams would want Tjones along with Asik. That way next year you'd pay 17 million for the two. Not so bad as 15 million for the one.

Anything less than a kickass player in return should be greeted with a resounding no thanks.

Do not sleep on Raps. Lowry will not resign, so the CW is. Toronto market highly receptive to JLin. Masai Ujiri has been reported to covet Asik.
