Good for you. But while I am a Rockets fan for many yrs, I got to admit that I was inspired by the Linsanity though. It was indeed an ultimately under-dog story

This is why I will probably root for Lin (unless his future team plays against Rockets) even if he moves on to another team.

The point is you can believe whatever you want in your own world but it is not necessary the indisputable fact in reality.

And for the record I don't mind you opening up another 'number is clear' thread because your last thread coming out, Lin instantly played a lot better, so did Bev.

That's cool. I have no problem with Rockets fans rooting for other players. He is easy to root for since he is so hardworking.

This isn't stocks... don't just "sell high." We are already in a good position in to target free agents in 2015. If a move doesn't make the team better or gives us great trade assets (1st round picks, moveable contracts), then forget it. Same deal with Asik.

same here been a rockets fans since the 90s !
seeing comments and fans so quick to write a hard ggod working guy off only makes me root for him, he showed what he could in the past by carring a dead team to the playoffs
now is a 4th 5th option adjusting, playing ok doesnt bit%^ about his spot works hard. You cant count a guy like lin out. We will see the same thing about lin and other pgs once he is gone. Matter a fact it happened already with morey and les and they had to write that CHECK, give that man his money bascailly begged him to come play for the rockets.

Lin took a team to the playoffs as a starter in NY,
Lin was starter on a playoff team last year
will be a 6th man on a contending team this year, dont know what all the hate is about.

I disagree. There are teams out there that want Lin and his contract.

My comment was directed more at last year's version of Dragic who was not the player you see today. And I honestly don't agree that he's faster/quicker than Lin. To me they're the same player, but just that like you said, one is playing with confidence and dictating while the other isn't.

Dragic is definitely on another level. It was painfully obvious to us that he should have been starting in 2010. We wouldn't shut up about it back then.

It's just my observation folks - I really don't feel like getting into a debate because it's just that obvious to me. Dragic is better than Lin.

But my question is - so what? We have Lin on our team, not Dragic.

I root for Lin to do well, not Dragic. See what I am saying?

Are you the same person (Lou M.) what a dragic blog with posts from 2010 how it's obvious dragic should be starting?

I absolutely agree and was feeling the same way back then. I think we should be trading Lin and trying to get Lowry.

Because ClutchFans didn't start for the 2012-13 season -- we watch, cover and scrutinize the Rockets every day here -- before Lin, during Lin and will after Lin. We watched Goran Dragic a lot here -- both he and Lin are fast players that run a good break, but Dragic is a better floor general than Lin. He's fearless, very aggressive, decisive, really strong in transition.

Just go back and take a look at some of his games with the Rockets:

And I agree -- Lin could do a lot more if he was in a ball-dominant role with players around him that depended on him to create. I don't think he would be as good as Dragic though.

It is fact. Why do the Rockets keep going with the Beverley lineup if the numbers are telling them something different? It's easier to believe it's something irrational to fit your own personal view, but the Rockets are simply going with their best five-man unit.

Dragic is what I hope Lin's game will be in a few years.

    Thanks for the videos, Clutch.
