The only bad one to me is the Bennett pick. Right now it's basically a wash between Thompson and Valaciunas. They weren't that interested in Lillard since they already have Irving and Drummond had a lot of question marks entering into the draft etc.

LeBrons should have stayed there. Such a classy and well run organization. Burn his jersey! lmao

Barnes/Ross/lamb are all upgrades at the wing position that we picked just after

They should take a look at Gersson Rosas.

none of them are vastly superior to Waiters even now.
It's ridiculous to expect a team to consistently draft the best player available.

Hell, just look at Morey's draft history. Someone that have done very well in the draft.
2008: Traded Batum for Joey Dorsey, Donte Greene
    2009: no 1st round pick
2010: Instead of PPat, he could have took Eric Bledsoe or Larry Sanders
2011: Drafted Marcus Morris and basically Dmo over Leonard (Morris pick) and Reggie Jackson or Faried (Dmo pick). But fortunately lucked out with Parsons (please that pick was more luck than skill, if Morey actually believed in Parsons that much he would have took him at 14th or asked the Wolvers to take him at 20th)
    2012: Royce White

Anyone that would hire Mike Brown should be automatically fired for incompetence.

when you draft top 4 every year for the last 4 years, you want to hit on all of them.

you cant expect pick 14 to have the same hit rate as number 4 or 1 thats just stupid. also royce wasnt a lottery pick. surly you dont believe what you just wrote above

Thats a very skewed stance on Moreys drafting. He packaged batum to ultimately land artest...which this team needed at the time. we couldnt wait for a wing player to develop with tmac and yao contending.

also, you left out terrance jones and jeremy lamb in 2012, who have been very good so far in their yonug careers.

and way to give as little credit as possible for the parsons pick. yeah. he got completely lucky on that pick. AT LEAST HE DRAFTED HIM!

looking back in hindsight, its always easy to critique and say, why did you draft X when you could've drafted all-star Y.

But morey is doing this with middle first round picks.

If you give morey 5 straight top 4 picks...we would have a SERIOUS squad

The only good fit I see with this Rockets team is CJ Miles. He would be above Casspi and Garcia on the depth chart imo. The guy shoots well from 3 (39%) and he doesn't drive into a packed paint like Omri and Cisco often do...sometimes I feel like they're trying too hard.

My point is hindsight is 20/20 and while the Cavs did have very high draft picks for many years in a row none of those draft years are filled with talent. With the exception of the Bennett pick, none of those Cav's picks are terrible. Sure they could have took Valaciunas instead of Thompson, but so far is he a significantly better player? No. Sure they could have took Barnes, Ross over Waiters but are those players significantly better than Waiters so far? Not really. Even if they took the "correct" picks, the team will probably still be terrible.

What a dumpster fire in Cleveland. Amazing that Mike Brown is in the FIRST year of a FIVE year deal and has ALREADY completely lost the team. What an abomination it was last night with the Cavs losing to the Lakers in that fashion.

When does the fire sale start in Cleveland? Varejao, Deng etc

no team in professional sports has been gifted as many high draft picks and still sucked...I honestly think a casual fan on clutchfans could have ran the cavs better

But are any of these guys really looking like "game changers" right now, playing a lead role in turning a struggling team into a good one?

It's just not that easy for a very young player to be a difference maker, even if he has elite talent.

Sadly the Browns rival them. Two #1s and two #3s off the top of my head went south real quick.
