Just think, our starting line-up could have been Dragic, Harden, Parsons, Morris, and Asik.

I bet our record would be 29-19!

Thsi has gotta be a joke. The Suns are basically where the Rockets were the past 3-4 seasons. Sure they have a winning record but they're never going to win a championship.

So you would leave it to the better judgement of the Rockets' front office, yet your disagreeing with them about Morey? And if your so adamant about having a basketball mind instead of a statistician (even though if you listen to Morey he has a good basketball mind as well), what would this basketball mind have done differently? Given the starting point of Yao and Tmac's broken bodies being on our team, how could any other GM have done better from then to now? He's performed miracles getting us this far so quickly and without a crappy losing team to watch. He's made mistakes, sure, but so have EVERY OTHER GM. For people to doubt Morey, I just want proof as to why you think somebody could've done a better job. That's all.

The only thing about the Suns I am jealous of is their coach.

Jeremy Lin is not a spot up shooter by any objective measure.

Morey's is very good but he's not without faults. You didn't list the most obvious mistakes he's made though....

    1) Royce White - Technically on McHale but Morey was our GM
    2) TRob - Great hustle but watching him play it was obvious he had some major major flaws in his game
    3) McHale - By far Morey's worst move. Does he not use analytics to select a head coach? McHale was mediocre to terrible as the Twolves coach and for some reason we have him follow two of the better minds in basketball history. I sometimes feel bad for ragging McHale since he was a great player and seems like a good guy, but he's a terrible coach.

He is a troll. For better or worse, at least the boldness is amusing.

Well, not that I agree with the op,but there are a lot of falsehoods in your statements.

Never liked morris because he's a tweener and not really in a good way. I always felt green wasn't really given a fair shot, but I'm not gonna rip morey on that on. The dragic move is the one and your statement is false regarding him. The option yr at that money should've have been a problem. Plenty of guys have them and they can can be traded or kept like any other contract at that price. Not to mention it was 3 yr plus a option yr. If he had a do over,he probably would've kept dragic.

The Suns move the ball better than we do and I definitely think Chandlers comments are resonating within the team. This Phoenix team beat Indiana twice (not luck). So let's not ish on them!

At that point we didn't have Harden and no immediate promise of getting any other star. We were looking at potentially a tank season and keeping Dragic at the risk of not being able to get not only one star, but multiple stars in the future was deemed not worth the risk. Keeping Dragic would have been great, but his production would not be as high as it is for the Suns where he is the first option, because Harden is the primary ball handler here. If we already had Harden, there is a decent chance they keep Scola too, at least for last year.
