Great idea, I'm going to tailor a regular shirt, but karate pants would be a great idea. Not really a big deal, but do some come with pockets?

On another note, has that pic been posted in the best rack thread? Because it should.... :D

Make sure you take a girl that dresses like a character from Kill la Kill or Highschool of the Dead, your costume doesn't matter as much.

Anime cosplay is just so weird. I honestly find it sillier that going out there with your undies over your clothes.

Wait, take as in bring along with me? Or take home with me? ;)

If you were an actual anime fan, you would understand that's it's not weird at all. It's like saying why go pay to watch others play basketball when I could play myself for free Or why would I wear a jersey to a sports game. It's a creative way of showing that you're a fan of something without having to actually say anything.

And no, it doesn't count if dbz is the only anise you've seen.

It's more like I find anime character designs really silly. Like I said, I find it sillier than Western comic characters; and that's saying a lot with respect to the costume of Superman.

I like anime, too (apparently not as much as you), but fandom doesn't excuse your logic.

It's like saying, "If you were an actual Rockets fan, you'd understand why I run around dressed and acting like Hakeem Olajuwon."

You can like the Rockets without dressing like Hakeem. You can like Yu Yu Hakusho without dressing like Hiei.

Cosplayers are just furries with a different fetish.

And spending hours upon hours on a bulletin board where the ratio of dudes to chicks are 99% to 1% equates sweet love with the womenfolk?

Nope, the hot cosplay chicks don't bang other cosplay dudes... They just play pretend dress up with them.... Not coming from an old timer either.

Ultimately you are not hurting anyone so do what you want.

Aww.... Well now we know WHAT isn't just a troll, but also a big into cosplay. So tell us, what anime character do you dress up as when you aren't walking the ghetto streets of Memphis.

These are the same old farts who probably hated Bruno Mars' halftime show.

Ignore the hate, OP. Like another poster said, you should probably ask for advice somewhere else.

Which anime are you talking about? bc there are a lot of them. To me, the design/art in anime/manga in general are amazing. Sure, some seem "silly" but there are so many different genre, it's silly to label all of them "silly".

Why are you so negative, they want to dress up as their favorite character then let them, it's like any hobby, if they have lots of fun doing it who are we to judge.

I mean you can say that about anything, why do we spend so much time watching people bouncing a rubber ball in front of a TV, get a life virgin F****

Listen to this man. He speaks from personal experience. Don't make the same mistakes as he did.

But if you insist, make sure you share your experiences with us!

don't listen to the negativity OP. if you enjoy it, who gives a **** what anyone else on here thinks. as some suggested, you're probably better off asking on a cosplay related board.
