There are a couple of small truths in the dude's mix but it's colored by and wrapped in this antipathy and disdain for Morey that he's never gotten past.

Maybe Morey didn't give Ingram a press pass or something. Maybe Ingram applied for a job with the organization and was likewise rebuffed. He writes like a woman scorned.

this, the stuff he writes seems like he has a personal vendetta against Morey. No logical Rockets fan can be THAT pissed off at morey no matter if they agree with his coach hiring etc.

If you find yourself agreeing with Ingram, it's time to re-examine things about yourself.

Few things in life harmonize quite like Bill Ingram's inane ramblings, and the vocal minority of posters who agree with him. It's quite breath-taking.

I know that this is just an analogy you're using to make a point, but I should point out that not only did Columbus know that the world was round, so did everyone else. Some Greek mathematicians had figured it out millennia ago, and it had been common knowledge among the educated ever since.

They even knew pretty well how big the thing was. Which is what they're were saying to Columbus, "hey you idiot, you'll run out of food before you're a third of the way to India. The world is too big. Going around Africa is much shorter!

They were right of course, but they didn't know about the two continents between Europe and Asia. Columbus (who also pretty psychopathic) was an idiot who got lucky.

LOL, I don't agree with everything. He obviously doesn't like Morey, what he said about him was not called for and not true. However, his comments about Mchale are spot on.

It's pretty indisputable that Morey has done a good job. While it is true that players #3 and #4 on our payroll suffer from redundancy with numbers #1 and #2, he had no way of knowing that OKC would decide to panic ditch Harden. Asik certainly turned out to not be overpaid as last year he was the clear #2 player on a championship team. Furthermore without the Asik and Lin contracts we never would have landed Howard who in my opinion is far and away the best player on the Rockets. Also both Asik and Lin are very movable without taking on a bad contract.

I do think Morey is not without his flaws though. I don't at all care for McHale, I think he's a bottom 3 coach in the NBA, and I think Morey only keeps him around because he's one of the few coaches with experience that has so few other job options that he will allow Morey to pull the strings from the background and is essentially just a puppet. I don't think Morey's offensive system that he has in place (while good in theory) is a good fit with the team he has assembled and I think he would be better off handling only GM duties and not micromanaging coaching.

    nope not at all.

but some of it its true but dude did sound butt hurt while communicating it. My opinion is morey gets too much credit for this team not to have made it to the playoffs or out of the first round in years “you would think rockets been to WCF or finals plenty of years recently the way people speak of morey. Hes a stats guy thats great but the stats havent got us anywhere yet. But at the same time he does deserve credit for putting us in the situation to get it done this year and years to come.

That fact that someone says something that is true doesn't change just because YOU don't like him. I know nothing about Ingrahm, I'm not a follower and could care less who he is, but I find his comments about Mchale to be true and I don't care for his comments about Morey. It's hard to post here sometimes when you make a comment people are quick to lump you into a general "hater" catergory/group when sometimes it's just common sense that happens to be in disagreement with what you think THIS TIME.

All you need to know of his logic is that he said Morey and to scrap the team in order to sign Howard YET the taken on the current roster is better than their record (currently on a 54 win pace).

So, in other words, scrapping the team allowed Morey to assemble a roster capable of winning 60+ games in Ingram's mind.

Also, he claims the Rockets have "sucked" year after year under Morey yet (assuming a 54 win season) their winning percentage will be 59%+ during his tenure.

This happened already. It's called Vegas Summer League 2012. Didn't get to do it in 2013 because the Rockets chose to play in the Orlando Summer League instead (no fan seating there).

Curious to see if the team will do Vegas next summer.

I agree. McHale is growing on me too. He seems to be less stressed out there and his rotation are beginning to take advantage of our bench. Also everyone seems to be out of the doghouse. ;)
