- Homeward Bound - Click - John Q - Finding Nemo - Crash To name a few I haven't read here yet... But the list is a good one. I used to be able to count every movie that ever made me cry on one hand. Then I did shrooms in college and have gotten attacked by the feels for any and every random movie scene that really hits close to home ever since. It's like it unlocked some bolted door of empathy for me. I mainly have manly tears of joy.
All I remember about that part of Deep Impact was Robert Duvall trying to get a hold of his family and couldn't. Then is just like 'aw crap, well tell 'em bye!' Made me lol
Damn, as silly as it was Click also got to me. Any movie where a dog dies gets me, and the final scene in Love & Basketball.
****ing Marley and Me. You'd have to be a robot not to get watery at the end of that one. Same goes for the first 10 minutes of Up. That was so unexpected. Pixar feels get to me. V for Vendetta. Gladiator. Garden State.
Rudy - always shed a tear when they carry him off the field Antoine Fisher - when he goes into that dining room full of food and his grandmother whispers to him.... Kramer vs Kramer - just watched this the other day and teared up when Hoffman is hugging his crying kid right before his mother is coming to pick him up. Seen it a million times, but now that I have sons it really got to me. Can't even imagine...
The current state of my lovelife now makes me cry when I watch any 'romantic' films since most scenes would just remind me of my ex. Damn that woman for neutering me! Special mention of Braveheart though. That final scene... Ugh.
Too many movies to name them all. Many have already been mentioned. But for some not mentioned: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/WbW8GgAWKi8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/FKmf1r1vuqA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Edit: More the whole A Walk to Remember, but the Cancer reveal was what makes it so sad. In the book it was just unbearable.
Rocky I and Rocky Balboa. The way the story came full circle - he didn't beat Apollo in the first fight, but it didn't matter because he proved he wasn't a bum. He lost against Mason Dixon, but it didn't matter because he still had his pride.
This scene is very touching. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRhCz0ELrKs Another one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCWPgy101HQ
