You should do some research on the system that Bortles played in and you might be surprised. And being in the same conference does not mean they face the same opponents. For example, Teddy didn't have to play against Louisville's defense on Louisville's home field...
Yes I have and Bortles threw more screens and quick passes than Bridgewater. Thats is just starting off What is the last sentence supposed to mean lol?????
You hear that Cleveland? We are drafting your guy! Now, give us all of your picks and we'll let you have him.
If your #1 overall pick franchise QB is a complete failure, the coach is getting fired regardless of who the owner endorses (unless you're able to find a scrap heap/journeymen etc who somehow makes you forget about it or you win the Super Bowl (see Joe Dumars & Darko...))
And what makes you think "the grain" is right...??? What's your credentials to say anyone else is wrong....??? We all post "OPINIONS" on this board and just because you don't agree and or because I view things differently from you doesn't mean I do not watch the sport. Which is F'n stupid for someone to say that to another person on this board.
This may sound a bit extreme, but honestly, if the Texans drafted Manziel first overall, I'd consider taking a few years off watching Texans football because there would be no point, no hope, and the face of our franchise would be a complete tool. IMO it would be the absolute worst case scenario. Give me Bortles, give me Bridgewater, hell give me Carr instead.
It means Blake played harder teams. Charlie Strong is well known for his defense. And Blake was slinging that ball all over the field when he beat Louisville _ in their house. But I wouldn't take anyone of those dudes over Johnny... But I could see O'Brien wanting Blake over Johnny and Teddy.
lol i remember seeing cincys, qb/punter kay shred louisvilles defense on one leg for like 300+.. tee games i watched UL defense wasnt worth a fucck.. im with you, it has to be Bridgewater or Clowney. if not, trade out and build up a squad with the 3-4 1st and 2nd rounders well have.. im honestly hoping someone is leaking this nonsesne to create value for the 1-1 pick for a manziel hungry team and possibly boosting bortles stock..
Y'all must not bleed battle red then because I don't want bridgewater but if we get him I will still watch every single second of every single game cheering as if I have been the biggest teddy fan ever. That's the whole point of fans trust the organization and be there for the team through thick and thin and good and bad.
I do remember that, and that's why I'm not worried about it really. If "we" were raiders fans then I'd be frightened that Manziel would be the pick, but "our" organization has been a lot smarter than that. It would be a real disappointment to find out that they had lost their mind by picking the illegitimate child of Tim Tebow and Vince Young to be the face of their franchise.
Yeah. When the Rockets took Marcus Morris after I said on Twitter: "we better not draft that guy" (Paraphrasing, because there was a few expletives in there), I was all: "To hell with you Marcus Morris... I love you, bro. Welcome to Houston." Man, WHATEVER they do, I gotta support it. Don't have to like/love it, but support your squad. Don't run at the first sign of trouble.
